Flounderwhisker is a damaged cat, and he struggles to control his anger most of the time. He relays completely on his best friend and mate, Algaefoot.

As a young cat, his father was never around, it was only him, his mother, and his sister, Snailkit. Snailkit became insecure and scared, thinking her father hated her for some reason and it was entirely her fault, and Flounder went a different way. He became insecure but aggressive, lashing out at everyone, including his mother and sister who were there for him the entire time. He became lonely and sad but his anger overtook him, refusing to let him go.

As an apprentice he became a problem, he was rebellious, mean, and an awful cat. He influenced other cats negatively, making them keep away from him and seeing him as a danger to the clan, which he was becoming. Snailpaw and his mother, Fishwhisker, were his only friends. One day, his mother caught an illness and was quarantined from the rest of the clan to avoid getting everyone else sick, but Snailpaw was sneaking out to see her mother, despite direct orders otherwise. Flounderpaw knew she was doing this but didn't stop her, only realizing the true danger when the two died together, breaking the young tom's heart.

He was alone.

His anger didn't break to the sadness though, instead, he became worse. He was met by the devils told in TideClan stories, the mysterious evil cats, but Flounderpaw didn't care. He wanted to be strong enough to kill his father, Lynxsnarl, one day. His heart was turning dark and he was falling deeper into the pit that he would soon not be able to crawl out of.

He was made a warrior and named Flounderwhisker, in memorial of his mother, and a new cat came to him, attempting to be his friend. Algaefoot. At first, the young warrior was constantly trying to push her away, too angry to make friends and try and save himself, but he eventually gave in and let the she-cat help him. Together, she brought him closer to the light.

He still, to this day, struggles with his anger and hate for his father and still plots to kill him, but with Algaefoot's help, he is becoming a better cat. He has a small group of friends who love him and support him, though they are trying to bring him closer to the light of StarClan to where he can find happiness.

He couldn't do it alone, but after a bit of time, he found friends who will help him find peace.

Will he kill his father? The likely answer is yes, but only time will tell. Perhaps his newly found friends will save him from the corrupted hole he fell into. Is he still training with the evil spirits? Yes, he is and will continue to be until they cause problems with his real clan and he is forced to choose. Revenge or loyalty? Choose to be loyal to his friends or kill his father? It is unknown.

Personality

Yves is a headstrong, passionate young cat who just wants to have fun with her brother and his friends. She's a bit of a loner and doesn't connect well with others, which is why she tags along with Yunuen. She's a bit of a meme and enjoy making jokes to make others laugh. She's been compared to the sunset, with her eyes, her pelt, and her fiery personality.

If you get to know Yves you'd know she's actually an incredibly lazy cat and does her own thing 99% of the time. She doesn't care much for what others think and has fun being on her own. She's creative and quick thinking, enjoying the ability to come up with exciting new ideas on the go to keep her entertained. Going solo has always been her plan and she doesn't forsee a change in the future.

However she can be a bit annoying..........



So just knock her away from you and she'll calm down, like if you hit a switch or reset button.

Backstory Stuff

Yves isn't close to her parents, or any other family, only her brother Yunuen. She's been under his charge the moment she could eat solid food and not rely on her parents for protection.

Her and Yunuen had a rather empty upbringing, with their parents absent and self concerned. They were frequently told and seen as a burden, and one night having a heart to heart, Yunuen admitted to Yves he thought of leaving Yves and going off on his own (but he cares too much about her to do that; he'd be wracked with guilt for the rest of his life) because it was taking a toll on his mental health. Neither of them care about their parents and would gladly never see them again - they have Yunuen's friends who more than make up for it.

Yves loves and hates the distant relationships of the Grand Valley colony but sucks it up because it's better than anywhere else. She doesn't want to risk dying of starvation or exposure or something. No thanks, she chooses life!

Other

Y'know the term moon lesbian? Yeah that's Yves. She has a strange admiration for the moon, the stars, and the night sky in general. She only just likes how pretty it can be, especially how the view is clear from obstruction and light pollution like it was in her old home. It makes her feel.. at home.. if you can say that and she wouldn't give it up for anything.

Her favourite pastime is playing around in the river at the end of the plains by the mountain base when it's calm because it lets her burn off useless energy. She'd rather risk death or injury than annoy others (yes she's well aware of how annoying she is sometimes). It's an unfortunate ideal she's absorbed from Yunuen, who also doesn't like to burden others.

.. Siblings are always more similar than they think they are.

(Yves enjoys summer for this reason; it allows the river to dry up and lower itself to safe levels while keeping her cool in the hot weather.)

It's ironic that Yunuen and Yves share so many traits, like being gay, being tall and skinny yet incredibly strong, and the need to sacrifice themselves for the happiness of others. They would be stronger together if they acknowledged it and yet they deny it and want to keep each other as separate as possible.
Basically: who doesn't love self worth issues and being gay? Lets go, lesbians,,,

Markov believes that the world has grown corrupt
with the thriving presence of foes and troublesome
members of the pack, such as Tundra and his lot.
Due to this, Markov spends most of his free time
thinking about how the world has grown darker,
and how he is often forced to aid in the clean ups
of their failures. The song fits him because he
himself is the "innocent child with a thorn in his
heart", who has since grown into the position
of fighting against his foes in order to achieve
justice and victory. This song also efficiently
narrates how Markov views the world and what
it's become, while also accurately displaying
his visual thought process through dark images.

Personality:
Markov, at least to some, is a confident and defiant tom. He strives across the lands with the mentality that no one can take him down, and everyone pales in comparison. He's the cat that other kits look up to, and go "wow! I wanna be him!" Whether this mentality is good or bad, Markov still uses it as leverage to spread his defiance against the cruel cats of the land. With his cocky and confident nature, he is able to rally troops for his causes with ease, even if he is accomplishing a somewhat more sinister task.

Markov believes it is his sole duty to purge the land of all evil. Because of this, he tends to believe that anything negative that happens to his pack is his fault, even if he had nothing to do with what occurred. Despite his cocky and seemingly careless nature, Markov does truly care about achieving justice for his friends and family. He strives to make the land better with every one of his decisions, and he is openly defiant against those who are corrupt and in charge of anything.

Upon entering the clan, Markov found himself lost in the midst of a metaphorical quarrel, where tempers were flaring and blood was on the paws of multiple cats.

With the death of the leaders sister, Kei, and the takeover of the pack by Mercury and her lot, things had began to seem hopeless.

He wallowed in this fear for a while, with Talora being the only other cat he truly trusted. Eventually the two developed a bond, and over time, Markov dragged her out of her seemingly stoic and emotionless state of mind.

The two have started plotting exactly how justice will be exacted on the clan, however, one thing still bothers Markov;

Tundra.

Something about him seemed so familiar, but he couldn't pinpoint it.

It was something he would soon address, and he would soon be given purpose and an objective once more because of that suspicious tom.
