Prompt: Val's favorite holiday is Memorial day. Someone extremely important and close to her rider had died during war, and the last day of May is the day Val, her rider, and her companions celebrate the bravery of his service. Although it seems like a sad day, instead of grieving they throw a small party in remembrance of the great times they've had while he was living. Though the end of the day is her favorite time; they visit his grave with a beautiful bouquet of flowers and sit for a long moment, and although her rider can't see him, Val can, she gets to watch him listen to the stories her rider would talk about as she sat, though watching the tears well in both of her human's eyes is the saddest part of the day.
