a trinket is something to cherish. something that reminds them of their experiences, and their life in general. her trinket is always by her side, hanging from her hip. she would never forget it, whether she is going to a party, or just lounging around at home. if she lost it, she would just sit there. quiet and still. she would live without sketching. she would sit there, blind to the world around her.

one of her favourite things she would sketch were daisies and humming birds. the wings always interested her, and she would dream as to what it would be like to soar through the sky just like them. each picture she drew had a story to tell, whether it was a day out in the forest, or just sitting in a field, they spoke of her story.

the trinket that this kit was bound to is a sketch pad. it was covered in pictures of the shine she carried so proudly. it had a small pencil attached to it, that was crudely made, but still effective. you could tell that this book is loved so dearly, and that she couldn't go without a second apart from it.

Kaiden's trinket is from a girl whom he had a crush on in summer camp.
Both Kaiden and the girl would always play together in the wildflower fields.

Kaiden doesn't know what happened to that girl after that everlasting summer.
He hopes to one day find her one day. While he searches he has always worn this clip
of hers in remembrance of the fun time he had with her.

Bryn has decided that she is an explorer. She’s made it her mission to explore every bit of the forest, learning all the trees and finding the secret paths, crossing streams and climbing trees and just being out there.

And what’s an explorer with her trusty walking stick?

Bryn found the large, smooth branch on one of her first forays into the woods. She took it home, stripped off the bark and rubbed it smooth. It was pretty plain at first, just the pale wood. But Bryn has been slowly but surely adding to it, turning her walking stick into something beautiful. She’s started making little carvings each day, the track of an animal she saw or the leaf of a plant she found. Something to remember her adventures by.

She tied the first feather she found in the woods near the top of her staff, and adds to the tufty bundle every time she finds something new to adorn it with. She’s experimented with dyes too, and her carvings are often bordered ruddy brown streaks from some river mud she painted with, or bright red from raspberries that served as both snack and decoration.

It’s both messy and beautiful.

their trinket: Hephaestus let out a frustrated growl as he fell onto his side again. "Damnit! I can't do a cartwheel!" He stood back up, stretching all six of his legs. "Hey, spider-legs!" Heph grimaced at the name he was frequently called by the other Kalons. The other 14-year old Kalon padded over to Heph. "Spider-legs, can't you do a cartwheel? It's so simple, just put your front paws on the ground and push off." The other Kalon sneered, casting a hateful glance at Heph. "Oh that's right, you have a pair of extra legs so you can't." Heph lunged at the other Kalon, throwing a punch to their lower jaw. "Is it so funny now, huh?!" Heph yelled, a scowl on his face. The other Kalon's face was painted in shock as they fled from Heph. Heph looked down at the ground, a small shiny object catching his eye. He picked it up, examining it. It was a small golden coin, it had the words "Fight Club" engraved on it (169 words)
