There was once a molly, Riptide, who had a beautiful gift of swimming for many many hours, not growing tired and having the pelt immune of coldness and wetness, with a beautiful gift and appearance, Riptide had the heart of envy.
Encountered a rogue and boasted to him about her impressing gifts, only to be replied with how Riptide was taught through the waves by an water goddess, Oceania. Screeching with rage Coral threw a hissy fit, only she is the greatest cat to have such a strengthful gift.
The wind grew bitter and the waves of the river were as high as the trees, Oceania had appeared! She challenged Riptide, angered that the molly took advantage and had the heart of cold. Of course, Oceania had won the challenge, to swim to the end of the river. At once Oceania banished Riptide to the seas, hidden in the wind and it is said, for every wave you see in the water... can be the helpless call and rage of Riptide.

Maplekit was born on one of the rainiest nights of the year. Maplekit enjoys telling the story of her birth and how rainy it was to whoever will listen. This time, it was a ball of moss.
Thunder clashed as I took my first breath. Water from the rain that seeped through the top of the cave filled my airways. Mom quickly licked my fur the opposite way, trying to warm me up. Smokestar was there too! She congratulated mom and ordered the tribe to seek higher ground. My eyes were shut but flashes of light and loud booming noises filled my senses as I felt myself being lifted up and carried away. It was soooo crazy! I stayed up all night so that mom would make sure I didn't choke on the rain. Now, mom tells me that since I survived the rainstorm, I can survive anything.
