Prompt: Sagepaw reminds herself that mistakes are normal, okay, and are expected. She can't hold them over herself and torment herself with them because everyone will have forgotten about it. Sagepaw reinforces habits like telling herself "you're doing good enough" (because perfectionism sucks), forcing herself to leave things as they are so she doesn't worry over it, and giving herself breaks to calm down and restart. Being a medicine cat puts a certain pressure on her shoulders no one else will get, and she has to keep a positive mindset with this role.

It fills her nest with a calming aroma and helps her fall to sleep quicker and easier.

Windwhisker’s role as a tideguard is very stressful and often causes her to crave rest, relaxation and the chance to de-stress from being responsible for so many lives. To combat her lack of free time due to the constraints of her role, she's developed a schedule for a rest and self appreciation period once every moon phase. This allows Windwhisker to get her much-needed me-time while not endangering her clanmates by being gone when they have need to her unique skills. During specific nights of the moon phase, she'll have Wavestar appoint someone to take on any duties she might be missing, leave the camp, and venture into a specific location that brings her some form of peace. On the night of the new moon, Windwhisker goes deep into the forest and spends her night looking for unique insects and watching the stars. During the waxing crescent phase, she swims over to one of the territory's outlying islands, settles herself somewhere under a tree, and spends the remainder of the night and the next day sleeping peacefully. For the first quarter, Windwhisker goes to explore the various tunnels dotting the walls of their cove, having found treasures there in the past. The waxing gibbous moon is the time for Windwhisker to gather the clan together and spends the night telling stories of her adventures and the various things she's seen in her role as a tideguard. Full moon is the time for traveling to the mainland to consult the sacred relic, Windwhisker doesn't have much free time during this phase but spends what little she has basking in the sun on her favorite ledge. With the waning gibbous comes another break for Windwhisker, and a much-needed one after the stressful time of the full moon, she usually spends this period in reflection and meditation to calm her frayed nerves and ease her stress from the last moon's journey. The third quarter moon is the time for fun and play, where Windwhisker allows herself to remember what it felt like to be a carefree kit, playing in leaves, climbing trees and just having fun. This is one of the most enjoyable phases for her, and she usually feels very refreshed after the break. Finally, the waxing crescent brings about her final rest cycle before it starts over again. For this phase, Windwhisker spends the night with her closest friends, hunting and exploring the territory and reflecting on their bond. It's a time for remembrance of how they met and to enjoy some much-needed bonding that is tough to do during the busy hustle of daily life.

Laurelshade's way of loving herself is pretty much just a self-care routine. She takes time to herself to do what makes her happy: berry painting. She often ends up rolling in the berries, smooshing them around in her fur real good before she goes and bathes herself in the bathing pools late at night, or early in the morning, when no one is there and it's quiet and peaceful. Afterwards, she smells faintly of berries - which happens to be her favorite scent.

Prompt: Self-love is a tricky thing that doesn’t quite make sense. You can still dislike yourself while loving yourself just as you can still appreciate your gifts and only see flaws. You’d think they cancel out, they surely can’t exist at the same time, but somehow they do.
She approaches self-love and acceptance like how one might approach the many mysteries of the world; with a grain of salt. They’re complex matters that leave little room for black and white thinking. There’s self-love in seeing your flaws as strange as it is. It’s like how a loved one cares enough to point out your mistakes.
There’s self-love in most things she does even if she doesn’t realize it. She practices best by living, as simple as it is.
