georgie tied up his hair with a quick glance in the full-body mirror behind his door, before grabbing a backpack he had slung over the arm of a chair and heading out of the door. today he was going to the park to see if he could find a four-leafed clover for one of his close friends. it would be incredibly lucky if he could do, but he didn't have high hopes for coming across one of the little plants. it wasn't long before the tiger reached the park down the bottom of his street, his tail waving around in anticipation of finding one of the lucky plants, and he was quick to decide on a spot of clovers to search in. an hour or two later, the now mud-covered tiger sat up and held up something towards the sun. "here it is!" georgie announced with pride as he pulled himself off of the ground, careful not to crush the four-leafed clover he held within his paws. "I did it!" he smiled to himself as he took in the small figure of the plant in his paws. with that. georgie began to head home, boasting about his 'lucky clover' to anyone that would let him.

prompt; juniper has always been seen as just plain lucky. All her life she has escaped bad people because she got a “feeling” and always made good grades in all her classes. It seemed that everything had gone her way in life. Of course things like this are easy when you come from a family with telepathic powers. All she has to do is read the persons mind to know their intentions. She always sits close to her teachers to read their minds and find out the answers to all the tests. She didn’t have the best life though. Her mind reading is a blessing and a curse. She accidentally uses telepathy all the time, and finds out things she doesn’t want to know. She is forced to be a keeper of deep dark secrets and she couldn’t tell people when she was upset because that could possibly mean sharing private information she’s learned. It’s hard to make friends when you know everything about them just by looking at them, but she remembers that no one is perfect. She can’t be in a large crowd because all the thoughts crowd her head to where she can barely think, so she doesn’t usually go out in public. She plans to be a detective to use her powers for good and to help others

prompt; (from her point of view, in the form of a blog entry) Hey there, guys! Today, I'm gonna be talking about my luck, or lack of luck, that is.
Why does it seem like, every time things seemed to go my way, like maybe luck was on my side just this once, something would happen and ruin it all?
Once, I was nearly all the way done with a very important commission, and I was actually pretty satisfied with it. But of course, just before I had the chance to save it, my computer crashed. Now that's not bad luck, you may say, you should've known to save it before. And yeah, I probably should have, but that's besides the point.
Another time, I was*this* close to winning tickets to see my favorite (musical) artist, but I accidentally closed out the page at the last minute and missed my opportunity.
And another time, I was ordering Christmas gifts online for my friends, and I had just found the perfect gift! Of course, as soon as the page finally loaded, the item was out of stock. It probably doesn't help that it was a week before Christmas, either...
Actually, it doesn't really seem like it has anything to do with luck, now that I think about it...
