"I love the rain," Bluewing purred, tail curling over his back as he sat under the open sky, dark gray rainclouds dropping their liquid droplets onto the warrior, soaking his pelt with water. "Sure, it can cause a cat to get cold or cause emotions to sink, but it also gives a cat time to be around their friend without worrying about their respected duties. I enjoy sitting with my friends and family inside the warrior's den while it rains because we don't need to go out on patrols or hunt until the rain has stopped. We can just sit there and have conversations, which with the duties of a normal warrior is limited half the time. I am on patrols throughout most of the day so I can't spend a lot of time with my mother and sister, which is very unfortunate." Bluewing shrugged, turning his head to the ground, getting to his paws, and shaking out his pelt and walking back in the direction of the clan camp. "I also enjoy the feeling of the rain droplets. Even if they make me feel cold after a while, I do feel refreshed and free when I return to camp. The rain helps me think and fall asleep every night. The rain makes me feel better about the decisions I have to make. Therefore, rainy days are my favorite days and nobody can change my mind."

xxxAfter living in a cold environment for a large portion of her life, Finchwater has taken a liking to warm weather, especially when slipping out of clan territory to go exploring. She enjoys the hot blast of air against her fur during dry thunderstorms and loves to sit and watch the lightening flash. The change between cold and freezing to dry and ecstatic sends shivers through her body. She has taken up an interest in studying clouds and knows when to time her travels from the mountains to the forest nearby so she can catch a good thunderstorm. [98/300]

Dusklight trotted out of camp and headed towards his favorite sky-viewing spot. It was almost time for the storm to start, and there was no way he was going to miss this one. Dusklight began sprinting, enjoying the feeling of the pre-storm wind running through his fur.

When he arrived at his special spot, Dusklight settled down on his stomach. He had a feeling there would be lightning this storm, and, and amazing as it was to watch, being hit by it would almost certainly kill him. Dusklight grinned. He loved the sense of adventure and danger that he got from watching storms.

A few minutes after the tom had laid down, the storm officially began. Lake-loads of rain plummeted from the sky, and the wind howled wildly through the flowers of PetalClan's fields. The water streamed through Dusklight's fur, chilling him to the bone. This was so much better than the barely-tolerable warmth of PetalClan's normal, sunny weather.

A flash of bright light followed moments after by a crash of ground-shaking sound. The lightning -- Dusklight's favorite part of the storm -- had begun.

Despite her name, Rainberry doesn't like the rain very much. Instead, her favorite weather is when it snows. The bright, shiny ground and the crisp, cool air makes her feel whole and happy. The night she was promoted to junior apprentice, the first snow the season fell to the ground. She woke in the morning, excited to start her training, and was speechless at the sight of the snow. After pausing for a few moments, she lept from the cave entrance and spent the morning playing in the snow with her littermates. [92/300]

Prompt:

Rain, the all the best mornings start with a light drizzle. Nothing storming, nothing heavy, just a light gentle mist of a rain. The kind that caresses your face like a gentle nuzzle, then as swiftly as it fell it was gone. The clouds would part like a strike from the claws of Starclan and the sun would break through the clouds and shine down to bless our day. The clouds still in pieces would float overhead and leave behind small drops between clear skies, the mix of rain and sun is the perfect day. My favourite weather above all others, because it means there is a chance to see a rainbow. Nothing brightens my day more then seeing a rainbow shoot across the sky leading the treasures unknown. So though the rain sometimes bring somber occasions, it can also bless us with a beautiful sight, therefore that is why it is my favourite.

Prompt:
The first fall of snow, when the air turns crisp and the wind brings with it the chill of winter. This is Typhon’s favorite type of weather, right before things get bad. She loves the snow and the first of it is the only time she can really get out without getting clumps stuck in her fur or coming back wet because of the snow melting on her body. Just being able to sit out and watch the flakes dance in the sky as it glides down to the earth, her breath clouding the air around her. The prey still runs trying to get in the last bits of food before the ice freezes over and the river slows in preparation to freeze over. She can still run in the fields with her tongue out catching the flakes, the chill going through her whole body and the first snow giving her more energy then any spring day could ever do.

Prompt: The soft summer air and sun warming her fur is Blueheart's favourite weather. She loves being able to take a nap on the cliff overhanging the sea to give her a view to wake up to without worrying about sudden snow or frost. Birds are active and setting the atmosphere to a gently charged peaceful day, prey scurrying about to feed the clan; it's nice. Blueheart's joints don't like the cold, and having dealt with severe snow flashes many times in her life, she's sick of shivering and aching everywhere. Blueheart would gladly trade anything for it to stay a warm, sunny, summer day forever.
