*Who are you?

The question startled Otimim. You didn't know who this strange kalon was, perhaps he had been your friend? Whatever had hit you took a good bit of your senses with it too, and honestly, you can't seem to remember much of anything. Though you couldn't understand what he was saying, it was quite obvious from the frantic motions of his arms and the spittle clinging to his lips that something was very wrong. You couldn't help but notice the dirty, ruffled up feathers that clung to his pelt either. This man certainly was strange, but perhaps you both were a sight to behold. A young kalon who had just been pulled from amidst the busy streets, and the foreign, lanky traveler who stood over them, covered in what looked like pigeon's feathers, speaking in some old tongue you couldn't decipher.

In the span of another moment, however, you realized there was no one else. The city streets had become only a smear of red brake lights and warm yellow lamps bouncing off the glistening roads. Your car looked so ridiculous now, the mangled mess nested so precariously in the median, wraithed with the old, rusted metal of lamp-posts and guard-rails. Another breath, and your focus flickered back to the odd sight in front of you. He was quiet now, staring at you quizzically. Who knows how long his paw had been extended. You sit up, though with some buzzing in your head and a dull ache spider-webbing along your back.

he adjusts a rather peculiar looking hood, fidgeting with something inside. His voice then rings out clear, finally in a language you can understand.

"Im uh, I'm Otimim. But the fact that you can see me means you're dying."
