among the jungle trees are gods whos striking pelts render them hidden true,
their cousins, golden and mighty, armed with powerful jaws that chew and chew.
there are colorless herds, roaming the lands and watching for these gods in which they rue.
up high are fearsome fighters armed with talons, and through the clouds they easily flew.
their bald headed brothers who are not so adored, circle above those who are of a paler hue.
of these feathered friends are also the non-flying kind,
