      Briarkit had been napping in the nursery when something fell on her head. With an ear-splitting shriek, she sprang to her paws, her short fur bristling in alarm. 'Monster! Snake, fox- badger?! CaveClan! GroveClan, BeachClan - some one is attacking!' she yelled, dashing out of the nursery. Her short tail lashed in panic.

      'Magnoliahop! Magnoliahop!' Briarkit yowled, her scruffy fur fluffing out anxiously, and peering behind her for her hidden enemy. 'Help me!'

      The brown-and-white queen turned from where she'd been reassuring Longkit, eyes wide with worry. 'What is it, Briarkit?' She asked, getting to her paws and blinking at the brown kit.

      Briarkit spun around and pointed one trembling paw at the nursery. 'It j-jumped on my h-head,' she stammered nervously.

      After examination, Magnoliahop rolled her eyes. 'It's a leaf, you turtle brained kit,' she purred teasingly. Briarkit still jumps when something lands on her head, but uh, doesn't alert the whole camp with her terrified screams.

    Writing: Lavenderpaw was walking back to camp, she had a long eel in her mouth. (luckily it wasn't one that stung) she nodded to manateepaw and his mentor as she pasted them. she carried on walking. then she tripped and fell over! Lavenderpaw got back up and looked down and there was a big log she dropped the eel and then started to push the log and suddenly a giant spider jumped out at her and landed on her nose! Lavenderpaw screeched in fear and shook her head to get it off but it did not budge she batted at it but it didn't move "aaaahhh" she ran away but the spider was still on her nose! she ran into camp screeched and waling like a newborn kit. then Willowpelt came and picked the spider off her nose and threw it in a bush.

Day 9's prompt has been edited slightly for Day 10 to make it easier to respond to.
(Because poetry is hard.)

    Dancing shadows,
    Playing games.
    Pluck a rose;
    Leaping flames.

    My snowy fur,
    Smiling friends.
    Word a blur;
    Kinship depends.

    Love is wrong,
    Now we're older.
    Try to be strong;
    But she's still bolder.

    Code betrayal,
    Do we care?
    Our survival;
    Is it fair?

    Dancing shadows,
    Playing games.
    Pluck a rose;
    Leaping flames.

    Hold her close,
    Taste the fury.
    Danger grows;
    Here comes the jury.

    Face the trial,
    Accept the fate.
    Is it worthwile;
    Rescue is late.

    Danger calling,
    Underhand.
    Blood is pooling;
    Over the land.

    Dancing shadows,
    Playing games.
    Pluck a rose;
    Leaping flames.

    End of the road,
    But we must fight on.
    Now we bear a heavy load;
    Yet I still sing my song.

    Swan's feather,
    In the breeze.
    Not together,
    Feel my blood freeze.

    All is over,
    Here's the punishment.
    Without her;
    I face my banishment.

    Dancing shadows,
    Playing games.
    Pluck a rose;
    Leaping flames.

    The poem revolves around Swankit and Flykit when they become apprentices. They've started to experience feelings for each other, but now that Flypaw is the medicine cat apprentice; these feelings are forbidden. Eventually they get found out, and while they sleep are faced with the thoughts of their punishment; which they believe will be banishment. The first part is Swanpaw's pov; the second Flypaw's.

    Writing: Jenga was swimming in the back lot, well...His humans called it a lot, because it was a bit bigger than the typical backyards. Anyhow, he was swimming in the pond there, a man made pond by the way. His fur was soaked, though from time to time he’d climb to the shore to prevent fatigue from causing...a bad thing to happen to him. He was back out in the lake, eyes and ears alert, when a Koi came splashing up! He didn’t really know what a Koi was, but guessed this to be one, because the humans had said there’d been Koi in the pond, only Koi, but the Koi had all vanished one day...He butted at it, then quickened to shore and rushed to the back door, meowing loudly. The humans came out, following him, and saw one of their Koi. “Good cat.” the woman said, patting Jenga.

      Mothkit snuggled down on his nest. The sun has dipped beyond the horizon and it's time to snooze. He snores quietly and behind to dream.

      Rainbows, millions of rainbows. All of them bright, sparkling things. He loves them. His eyes shine as he dances around the flower filled meadows. His tail flicks as he races towards one. He chases and chases but it keeps on dodging his paws. He swivels, changing directions and darts over to a different one. He finally manages to reach it, but then - when his paws touch- grey.

      The colour leaks out of the rainbow, all the rainbows. And Mothkit wakes up, crying.
