hermit crab walked around the border of the ocean. he watched as his
paws washed up against the ocean. the sun set was beautiful. he sat in
the sand and stared in awe. but then a yelp interrupted his quiet sun
set. his ears perked up in confusion. he walked over to the cave where
it was coming from. he found a black pup with red eyes. his fur went
on edge at the blood eyes. he stared at the pup in confusion. why was
a pup stuck under this branch, all alone? hermit crab walked over but
to his surprise the pup nipped him and growled. "i can handle it myself"
the pup said weakly. hermit crab put his ears down. then he heard a voice
behind him. it was martha. "let him die with sadness, not pride nor honor
if he declines help" martha said as she gestured for hermit crab to leave.
hermit crab looked sadly at the pup and walked away.
