She'll be brutally honest: Jil loves the winter sales, particularly if it has something to do with food and clothes. Jil has a habit of saving up the rest of the year and splurging everything during winter, where she could buy hundreds of scarves and no one would bat an eye because, well, it's cheap and it's freezing outside. Pair that with her frequent trips to the coffee shop, where she loves to take pictures of the holiday drinks and hot marshmallow cocoas. Despite her rather quiet nature, her social media has garnered a few thousand of followers, and they all know Jil's tendency to flood everyone's timelines during the cold holidays.

Undocumented from the internet are Jil's winter nights spent coated in 10 layers of scarves, sipping on some hot cocoa she bought twelve hours ago (while resisting the urge to drink it up the whole afternoon) and watching holiday movie specials she rented for sale down at the corner of her street. If she's not watching movies, she's probably rearranging the decorations and Christmas lights around the house for the nth time, because she can't seem to find the perfect way to utilize all the decorations she's splurged on around their tiny house.

Whatever the case may be, winter is definitely the time to 'treat 'yo self', at least for Jil.

Kris loves taking pictures of the gorgeous scenery and winter is the best time to do so. The softly powered navy trees and gray skies make everything look so peaceful. He loves to stand in the snow with his tongue out, waiting for the tiny snowflakes to melt on his tongue.

Caroline grinned as she popped the lid off of the heavy blue tote. Piles upon piles of sweaters and jeans sat stacked inside, ready for the humid air to turn crisp and cool. Caroline worked for awhile, the sun sinking below the horizon early than usual, another trait of winter she adored. She stood back proudly as she examined her new closet full of long sleeves, mom jeans, jackets, and her favorite thing of all.. sweaters!! The best part of her winter, she thinks, is being able to wear her favorite sweaters. She loves everything about them; from the feeling of the fabric to the warm aura they give to people. Caroline feels her best in her sweaters, so she thrives in the cold months, when she can bundle up and smile into her warm collar.
