Prompt: Ara’s favourite season is spring, the time of year when the flowers bloom, the grass is a perfectly crisp shade of green and the temperature is just right. Her main reason is that spring is the period of the year when her pack’s beloved night orchids bloom, and Oíche Bláthanna takes place. The celebrations signify the pack’s hard work during the year, and there is nothing more Ara loves than celebrating with her friends and family. The other reason the nox loves spring so much, and that is because it is when all of the new plants grow, and she can collect them. As the pack’s gatherer, she gathers herbs, flowers and other fauna for a variety of reasons- medicine being the main one. She’s intrigued by all of the different types of plants and the fact that she learns and discovers new things each outing thrills her.

Horizon's favorite season is the wintertime. After all, that's when she was born, and during the wintertime the sunsets are spectacular. There's something about the wintry winds and the vast land of ice that set out before her, the rushing wind that blows by her face and the dull roar of the blizzards beyond that, that seems to match and fit to her likings, and personality, and her entire identity. The bitter ice crackling under her feet as she runs across the endless plains of snow makes her feel like she can run on forever. She loves snow, and gets really excited whenever the first snowflake falls from the sky. After all, it's only once a year that you see that. During the winter, she has to suffer through weeks of hunger, but she feels like it's worth it to be able to see such beautiful sights. When she falls asleep, she stares at the icicles that grow on the cave roof, which always help her sleep better. There is a simplicity in the blues and whites of winter that she can't help love.

The crisp days of autumn have always been Aska's favorite. It isn't just the temperature, not too hot and not too cold for the Nox's liking; but the colors. So many different colors that nature can become. The leaves on the trees are changing into a beautiful array of browns, reds, and yellows, and who knew that brown could come in so many different shades? It is the way the world seems to work in harmony that Aska loves - even the trees that remain green fit in perfectly with the warmer shades the others become.

The symbolism of autumn is also why it is picked as his favorite season. Change - it's something that a lot of beings seem to fear, but Aska embraces change. He thinks of himself as adaptable, always on the move to try and better himself or better the lives of those he loves, which all requires change. There is something enchanting about the ability of living things to change, something that Aska has always admired in every single living thing, whether it be plant, animal, or human, he has ever met.

Not one leaf on a tree will be the same, which is exactly how Aska feels about himself day to day. Every day is a new day, and he has the ability to change every single day.
