Story: It was a long an weary trek through the forest to get to her destination, but Alex was determined that she was going to get there before nightfall. Her horses legs carried them as fast as they could, galloping through the vast expanse of thick trees, each one blossoming with new leaves from the spring. The sound of birdsong traveled through both their ears as they continued their journey along the overgrown path. It was then that she began to realise that she did not recognise the surroundings that she should of. The trees here seemed thicker, denser that what she remembered. There was something off about these woodlands, something more peaceful, something, that perhaps, was not there before. A loud animal call roared through the trees, a call that Alex at first did not recognise, a call that was only described to her in stories told by her grandma. She stopped her horse and turned towards the shrubbery. It was a short journey, but that was the first glimpse that Alex got of her. The great Caribou stood atop a small hill, the sunset giving her a golden glow as the majestic beast raised her valiant head and turned to look at Alex. She almost didn't know what to do, she stood in shock, but finally made her way over, to start a journey that she had not originally planned.

The cow skitters a bit as you approach. She seems to be alone, as there’s no herd in sight. However, as you get closer- almost face to face- and make eye contact she lowers her head and rests her velvety muzzle against your face...Congrats, you have tamed this caribou!
