What does this kalon miss most about summer? (250 words):

Summer was the time to connect with her friends. Those were the days of play dates and sleepovers or “hang outs.” Summer was freedom- a vacation with friends from school. She remembers one summer over all of the others though; the summer of their senior year in high school. They lied in hammocks under the stars and spoke softly to each other in purring voices. They spoke of their friendship and their futures and their fears.

They had been through so many summers together, and this was their last summer together before they split to different colleges. She wishes she could go back to nights like those.. Summers still aren’t the same because those friends aren’t not even in the same country. There’s only been a few summers they’ve met up once again. She wishes she could be young and have play dates and slumber parties in those warm summer nights. She misses that blissful free time of the everlasting summer...unfortunately everlasting even ends.

Here it is. The BG is a drawing I made once and I didn’t really have a Kal design for the friend so I kept is as a base as of the moment. If I win this kal- I may fill it in with one of my own kals.

the art is gorgeous, and I can really see their personality and their love for butterfly catching! Similarly when I was a kid, I loved catching monarch caterpillars and watch them grow until I could release them as a butterfly!
