Animal: Gwen's favourite animal is the penguin for many reasons. Firstly the baby penguins are adorable to say the least. Secondly, they are super weird and fascinating and hilarious with their waddles and belly slides and lets not even mention them trying to run, you cant help but giggle at their attempts. Most of all Gwen loves how driven they are to have a family, one parent starves to protect the baby while the other feeds and stocks up on food for the chick before swapping places, risking their lives to raise a healthy chick. Finally, she loves how they dont fit into social standards... when you think of birds.. you automatically think of things that fly but nope, not penguins these lil fluffy tuxedo guys just couldnt hack it, so took to the seas for swimming instead

Her horns have never quite been able to straighten themselves out, and though Jo used to be embarrassed by the abnormality, she's come to love her horns because of the friend that has come with them. One day, a particularly bold chickadee that took residence in the farm decided to take a seat directly on one of her scraggly horns! At first, Jo tried to shake the bird off, but with its boldness came a firm resolve to make a permanent home out of her horns. No amount of head-butting, shaking, or rolling would scare the critter off. After a bit of an adjustment period, Jolene came to enjoy the warm company and the cheery songs her new friend offered. Nowadays, despite their rough start, Jo and her chickadee are attached at the horn!
