Pollux loves to take nature photographs and print them off so that he can carbon print the photograph onto paper. He loves the process of it, although he sometimes finds it hard to keep the paper, the carbon paper and the photograph all together but he manages to.

After the drawing is complete Pollux then photocopies it and paints the copies with bright watercolours to give them life. When he is certain that he has a large quantity of different carbon prints, he strings them together to create little books that he takes with him when he visits his home planet, which is rare.

He makes these little books in the hope of inspiring young children and encouraging them to explore; when they’re older. As Pollux doesn’t live on his home planet anymore he usually doesn’t sell his books for any kind of currency, but he takes trinkets as payment instead so that whenever he misses home he has something with him to soothe his thoughts.

when you first see jules's yard, you wouldn't think it was an art studio. you'd think it was a heaping pile of garbage. and well, you wouldn't exactly be wrong. he's taken a particular interest in recycled art - the epitome of "one man's trash is another man's treasure". pounds of discarded miscellany, all turned into new sculptures with a little care and creativity. he has no trouble getting materials for his works: he lives right next to the town junkyard! originally, jules hung around the area to scavenge for pieces for his car - which is less of a vehicle and more of a repainted and modified mess - but not everything could fit on the little 60s chevy. he found himself with a growing collection of seemingly useless waste that was just 'too cool' to throw back out, and he knew he had to find something to do with it. at last, armed with a hot glue gun and thick gloves, he began his first project. it took weeks to get everything stuck together, and when he finished, well, it still looked like a hunk of trash rather than a rabbit, but he kept at it! today, his art is even in a few museums! his goal? to help clean up the planet, one sculpture at a time!

Ah. I was never an artist... but my girlfriend, God was she amazing at what she did.

Life wasn't kind to her, took her away from us too soon. But the way she spoke about everywhere she had been, everywhere she wanted to go... The passion she held for all the little things in life is contagious. I wanted to see the world in her lens, I wanted to remember her by chasing her light through the cosmos.

I'm no artist, but I do it for her. I illustrate the illustrious ebb and flow of life, channel her memory through the canvas and lights... I want to go where she never could, so I can take these to her when I see her next. I've seen so many wonderful landscapes, so many bright lights and lovely days, but none come as close to capturing life's radiance as she did. Perhaps one day I'll find where she must lay, nestled among the stars like a song spun of the heavens, she is my heavens.

Though their reasoning may sound childish, it’s still true. Goo had an astonishing bond with their mother when they were a kit, and the two were almost always seen painting. When she died Goo used painting as a coping skill. To this day it’s their favorite activity, enough so that they’ve even made a career out of it!
