Prompt: "Thou shall grow big and strong wings, if kissed by a magpie." I hope a short story is okay:

"This is gonna work, right?"
Blueberry, a young, blue-pelted kit inquired with a glisten of hope. He was crouched under a thick green bush with an eccentric, old hedgehog at his side.
"Of course, of course, it must!"
The hedgehog exclaimed in a raspy, aged voice. Slowly, Blueberry crept out from underneath his cover, and he crawled into the open, golden plain. The hedgehog gave a loud gasp and Blueberry looked up in terror as a swift magpie swooped about him. Blueberry bolted back for the cover of vegetation, shrieking with fear as the bird jabbed his body repeatedly with its oil-colored beak.
"The kiss! It's happening!"
The old hedgehog called out, and a mortified Blueberry crashed into the bush, crying loudly.
"I don't understand, the your wings shoul-"
The youthful rabbit interrupted him and spouted with rage,
"You stupid yona! Why did I believe you?!"
The hedgehog twitched, without a word left, and Blueberry dashed into the forest, weeping and humiliated. He not once looked back, he only ran and ran, as far as he could carry himself.

Elderberry believed that if he stepped on a thistle plant before eating it that it would carry dirt from his paws and continue to grow in his stomach, causing bad stomachaches when it poked him. Because of this he was often seen standing as far away from the plants as he could and stretching his neck out to eat them, which undoubtedly looked a little silly.

He learned this was not the case when he had a stomachache one day and went to his warren's healer complaining that he had not stepped on any thistles, so he did not know why this was happening. The healer was very confused until he explained his false belief.

Randal loved his mother, so much so that he clung to her leg any time she tried to leave. She wanted to be with her and explore the world with the mother he so loved! Which wouldn't have been a problem had he not already been weaned and she ready to go back to her duties...
"I have to go, my sweet," she said, glancing back to the patrolling party shuffling their feet waiting for her to join them. "If I dont go, Fanin-Rah will make me go to the deepest, darkest burrow in the warren."
Randal, being scared of the dark as any kit would be, was horrified at being the reason his mother had to sleep in the grimy dark burrow instead of their usual shady spot. Why would he be so mean! Randal refused to let that happen to his sweet mother! He stepped back and watched as she hopped out of his life forever....
....or at least until she came back after the patrol happy to have had that much needed break.

As a youngster, Larimar was always told by his mother that eating too many dandelions would make his whiskers fall out. He only found out this wasn't true when he was asked to help dig out some more tunnels. He told the other rabbit that he couldn't help because he was scared of his whiskers falling out and getting stuck in the tunnel, since he just ate dandelions. The confused rabbit asked Larimar to repeat, then explained that it was made up so other rabbits could take the tasty dandelions instead. It made sense after that, his mother really loved dandelions.
