has a crack running along its surface
and a small chip towards the top. Met
hoping to hide the chip wrapped, with
the difficulty that comes with having
a lack of hands, a small strip of tin foil
around the top. The tin didn’t stay in
place and sagged down but she refused
to let it fall off. She smushed the foil
back into place as best as she could,
and now it just encases part of the tooth.
why is it so significant? (149/150) wrote:While the necklace looks almost

it is so important to Met because
it's center piece, the tooth, belongs
to no species on record. After
discovering it with a friend the
two kens immediately began
looking for evidence of the
potentially new species. Others
regarded their want to find this
non-existent creature as a joke.
The two friends fought over
whether they should continue,
with Met arguing that they should
quit. They stopped speaking to each
until her former friend grew very ill.
Feeling bad about how things had
went down between them Sekhmet
made sure to visit. The reunion
between the two kens went better
than Met expected it too, both of
them deciding to leave behind
what was in the past. However
with one condition, Met would
continue her friends research
while she couldn’t and she’s
carried the totem ever since.
