He slept, not even close to waking up even when Swiftstar had Stormface prod him. After coming back from hunting, however, the smell of prey drifted through the camp. Surprising Stormface, Lightgaze suddenly shot up with one thought on his mind: Food!

Crow always thinks of how things could have been. Of how their life could have been so different - had an event not occurred when they were barely a few days old. If only they hadn't taken their brother away in the middle of the night. Then they would have grown up with their mother - to not have her stolen away also by the thieves. Then their brother would have not grown up to believe violence was the only way. Then their mate would have also been alive. And Crow themself would have lived their full life.
But, they suppose, nothing could be done about it now.

Privet’s voice was scratchy with disuse as he floated to wakefulness. He stretched a paw out, almost cautious, and when his paw hit a warm form he felt his maw twitch with warm happiness.

A paw knocked his own away. Mallowpaw’s grouchy voice cut through his sleep haze. “Stop moving and mumbling.”

Privet felt his mood quickly crash as his eyes slipped open to the dark den. That’s right...
