Hajinka, also known as Hijinx or Jinx by her friends, is hiding the fact she now identifies as female. The anxious kiuii doesn’t know whether her group of friends would accept her, so she keeps it inside.


Hajinka sat down on her bed and looked out of the window. Her eyes started to shine as she tried not to cry. Her best friend knocked on the door. ‘Jinx, you in there?’ There was no response, the kiuii just stared at the wall blankly. ‘Come on man, what’s wrong?’ Hajinka’s lip quivered when she heard her friend call her ‘man’. She reluctantly got up and opened the door. ‘hey…don’t call me that…’ The kiuii who had been waiting for her pulled a perplexed look. ‘call you what? Man? But why?’ Hajinka let out a sigh. ‘someday you will know…’

This Kiuii is hiding one of the most important secrets he's ever kept. He loves to sing, but he doesn't want anyone to know. Why? He's too shy and anxious to tell anyone he knows, including his closest friends. Juii is afraid that nobody would this he is talented enough, no matter how much he practices. He's afraid of what others would think of him, and if they would change their attitude toward him. If they know what he really loves to do, will they treat him differently? He loves to write songs and play his guitar. The thrill of performing for a crowd is amazing, even if it's a small audience. Juii sometimes does duets, but is best as an independent artist. He plans to tell everyone soon, but it'll take a lot of courage.
