Once she heard the song as a child, she new immediately knew she wanted to be a ninja. Not really interested in love or finding a mate, Leelah has done her best to go against the grain of society and walk to the beat of her own drum. She wanted to be a ninja to make sure she'd always have the ability to put food on her own table, and not have to rely upon anyone else's acts of kindness to keep her going. Very independent, Leelah now prefers to fix her own problems by throwing daggers at individuals or besting them in paw-to-paw combat. She wears a mask to conceal her identity, and hopes one day to add some eye-wear to her hand-made outfit so as to better conceal her true self from others. The bracelet on her back left leg was a gift from her mother, who passed away a few years before she finished her training to become a ninja. Her mother never knew the truth - she thought Leelah was training to be a part of the army, not a ninja-for-hire! Still, Leelah treasures the simple leather band and always wears it, when in ninja-garb or just out-and-about on the town. Preferring to keep to her somewhat boring day-job of being a janitor for a local college, Leelah does her ninja thing at night, under the disguising cover of darkness.
