The reason behind the name “Oreo” is because whenever I see an animal that is black and white, I always name them after the Oreo cookies. Do you recall a bird called a “Magpie”? Well, when I first saw a Magpie, I didn’t know what it was called, so I just called it an Oreo bird when telling my friends the birds I saw. Later on, I saw a Magpie again and said, “that’s the Oreo bird!” They said the birds name is a Magpie. Lol
