Personality: She is very caring, and will try to help others when they are in need. Sometimes, she will also blend in with the other fawns and play with them! Once, when a predator was chasing down a baby fawn, she had stood in between them, directing the black bear away from it. Since she was much more agile and faster the bear, she managed to outrun it and save the fawn.

Personality: "Hey! You down there!" The saukko far
down below looked up to see a young man spread
comfortably out on a thick bough. The guy
smirked and tilted his head.

"Huh?" The female gazed up, squinting her eyes
against the few beams that made their way
through the foliage. "Who is that?"

"Benji, darling." He flopped over on his stomach
and rested his chin on the branch, peering down
at the lady below. "What brings you around these
parts, hm? You know we tree nuts are a little
squirrelly." Chuckling to himself about his
unimpressive pun, he plucked a pinecone off a
branch and flicked it down at her, just barely
missing her head. He wouldn't actually hit her
unless she became irritating.

The girl yelped and dodged the pinecone. "What
was that for?" She retorted angrily. "Its none of
your business anyway," she muttered. "You have
no right to come butting in to our clan's doings."

Benji rolled his eyes and snorted, amused. Maa
Klaani, always acting so fussy when asked a
question. He sighed. This whole clan business
was rather stupid. Some saukko didn't even
care what clan you were from, while others
flipped out if you set a claw on their land.
Being in the treetops had its perks. From high
up here, you didn't have to worry about
intruders or battles. Puu Klaani were the best
best climbers, after all. Being able to be high
above all the drama and the rest of the world
gave Benji a strong sense of carefree love for life.

Benji can be your best friend or the bane
of your existence. His confident, flirtatious
spirit draws people in, but can also make
his playful personality even more irritating.
He loves to tease and crack jokes, as well
as mock others with his overflowing
sarcasm. However, no matter how annoying
he may get, his charisma just keeps people
coming back again and again. Its the
curiosity that keeps them coming back.
The wondering if there is something else
underneath all the teasing and the
confidence. Benji doesn't even realize it
most of the time, but all these traits are
a dark cloth he puts on over his head to
keep his softness and vulnerability hidden.

May is a very loving Saukko. She is always willing to help others and will often put other's needs before her own. Her helpful nature often puts her in harms way, but she always seems to find a way out of it, as she is also very inventive. She is often described as curious and outgoing by those who know her well, but those who don't know her say she is quiet and reserved.

"Don't be such a spoil sport, Mystika!" one of the boys teased, sticking his tongue out at her. She sighed and flopped down on the tree branch she refused to leave, letting her paws hang over the sides. They wanted to visit the river shore and play by the water, but she was perfectly happy where she was.

"I'd rather stay here," she whined for what felt like the hundredth time that day. The others her age were constantly trying to get her to go on adventures with them, much to her dismay. She just wanted to stay home and play tag or hide and seek in the trees.

"You always want to do the same old things. It's boring," another mumbled. It was true, but Mystika still found herself feeling defeated and a little sad.

"You guys go on without me," she replied with a heavy sigh. "Don't worry. I won't tell anyone."

She could hear them murmuring down below, questioning whether or not she was telling the truth. After a few minutes, she was relieved to see them turn to walk away.

"Suit yourself. See you later!" one of them called.

When they faded into the distance Mystika slowly got to her paws and climbed higher into the canopy, searching for her favorite fruits to eat. That would make her feel better.

Mystika is a homebody, preferring to stay high in the trees rather than take a chance on adventure. This leads her to spend a lot of time sad and alone. Still, she's happy with who she is, and she longs to be accepted by her friends.

She is, by her own admittance, a coward, but that doesn't bother her. Mystika feels like her positive qualities - including playfulness and creativity - should be worth more than her flaws.

Coping with stress is difficult for her, and she often indulges in her favorite treats (fruits) to cheer herself up.
