　　Ignis (singular: igni), or canis ignis, are a canine species originally found on the planet of Sayaeira, often described as "overgrown rats" by the prejudiced folk. They aren't very tall, usually growing up to around 50cm (20inch). They make up for their lack of fur with their unique ability to set themselves on fire at will - it doesn't harm them in any way. The coloration of ignis is mostly greyscale, sometimes with a bright, colorful accent, always the same as the colour of their eyes - the same color will also show in their flames and even blood, as well as muscles. Personality: Nahash is honest first and foremost, often driving others away with his blunt nature. He doesn't like secrets very much and can be both impatient and impulsive when he knows one, often telling others about the secret before his common sense has a chance to kick in. He tends to be very cautious around others because of this as he tries to ferret out and secrets that others have before he feels that he can trust them. He also has a morbid fascination with death, and collects memorabilia such as skulls and bones. This leaves him with few friends, unfortunately, and though he tries to call himself a loner he gets lonely on occasion and wonders if he could be doing something different. When with his friends, however, he tends to be very relaxed around them and often says what's on his mind without considering the consequences. He is trying to learn how to be more comforting because he understands on an intellectual level that his bluntness isn't always the best when someone is hurting.
How do they feel about being called a witch? What's up with the skulls? Nahash is annoyed when people call him a witch because he doesn't belong to the occult and doesn't do or know any magic, beyond his natural fire abilities. He wouldn't mind it if one person or two people mentioned it, but when it's everyone... Well he's sort of given up on constantly explaining it to other people. He understands somewhat why people might look to his skulls and think that he's a witch, but in reality it's simply because he has a rather morbid fascination with death and collected some real cat skulls (with permission from their owners) and strung them into a harness of sorts. He's very proud that he managed to do that in the first place without losing his temper and giving up, but has wondered if it might be better to simply put them away until the fall holidays come around and everyone starts dressing up in costumes.
