catch me ghosting this competition because there are too many great entries to decide
Nah I'm kidding, I thought I was gonna be able to get this judged last week but after reading through the forms I fell in love with so many of the concepts I didn't even know where to begin! I have to admit I wasn't expecting so many entries, nor was I expecting so many clever, interesting, and exciting ways of interpreting the prompt! You guys all seriously blew me away, I was severely unprepared for the creativity you've shown. I can't thank you all enough for sharing your ideas with me! It's been such a blast reading through these forms - several times over, even!
That being said - I've decided on the winners!
I'd like to give HMs to: (in no particular order)
angst™
eunoia,
planiteri
Meridiem
f1owercrown
puddssoul
Snowlondon
saltypuffin
rottenmutt
fuiuki
SilhouetteStation
avriie
Error
blatyz
skywishes01
yuroshi
liightning
neongraveyard
And the winner is...
solyn!
Your concept was so mysterious and fascinating, I was captivated by the way you introduced the monster and made it very questionable whether or not ghosting her is going to solve the problem - I'll be excited to see where you end up taking Tae and I'm certainly curious whether or not they'll be able to escape this sleepless cycle. I felt like you really captured the Halloween spirit and played with the prompt a couple of different ways, and I hope I can give you a design that fits the spirit of your idea!
I'd also like to award a standard-rarity RU to...
spookkind!
Your form was wonderful as well, to be ghosted by a ghost is a great starting point, and your form really brought together the emotions of love and loss, and how painful memories can be - in this case, on both ends. I felt like I had a strong sense of Casper's character and story in the limited word count you had, and I hope I can do this design justice!
Thank you all so much for entering, I really did have a wonderful time reading these forms - and I wish you all a very happy Halloween!
