You make your way out of the haunted forest quickly. You didn't care what you grabbed as long as you got something and got out alive, and you ended up grabbing a branch with a bunch of berries black as the night growing on it. Ryker raises a brow, "You might want to drop those, they're quite poisonous... but also a bit useful."

"Whoa! It's been years since I've seen one of those!!" Ryker's shadowy eyes widen as you approach with your haul in tow. Somehow you managed to find one of the rarest things in the forest: a small piece of meteorite. "I've heard there were only a couple of these left in the forest, I didn't think anyone would ever find them!" He quickly snatches it from your hand and tosses you a bag filled with stickers as he goes to inspect it closer.

Ryker immediately hops up from his resting place when he sees you come out of the forest. "Ahhh... what a beautiful bone. I can definitely do something with this." He takes the bone from you and you watch as he methodically carves a design into its surface with his claws. He places the scrapings into a jar and blows away the rest of the dust with his fire. It causes the bone to spider with cracks and it seems to glow blue from the inside now. "Be careful with that." He warns before placing it back in your hand.

You proudly walk out of the forest with your find: a dragon's tooth. You can tell it came from a monster of a dragon because it's almost the size of your head and weighs a ton. Ryker doesn't say a word, but you can tell he looks pleased when he snatches it from your grasp. He uses his claws to scratch off a piece of the tooth and place it in a small cauldron, as well as a couple other questionable ingredients. He crouches to the ground and breathes fire onto the cauldron, and you watch it start to boil and change colors. How can cold fire make it boil? you wonder, but don't ask. He tips the cauldron and pours a small amount of the glowing liquid into a glass jar and corks it. "This is for your troubles."

ᴡ-ᴡʜᴀᴛ ɪs ᴛʜᴀᴛ?

The moment you stepped into the forest, you could feel eyes on you. There was no way you were going to stay in this forest for long, so you started looking for the closest thing of interest, but just as your eyes settle on some sort of mushroom, a strong wind comes out of nowhere and your torch goes it. And to make things worse, as soon as it does you hear rustling in the distance, and it's getting closer. You've got to get out of there, and fast, so you turn tail and book it as fast as you can back to the mouth of the forest. Ryker eyes you inquisitively as you get closer, but you watch his expression change quickly into something more serious. "Looks like you've brought a friend with you." Turning around you see the creature. "Looks like they've taken a liking to you. Do you wanna keep them?" (pm me with name and gender if you want to keep them)
