　　Ignis (singular: igni), or canis ignis, are a canine species originally found on the planet of Sayaeira, often described as "overgrown rats" by the prejudiced folk. They aren't very tall, usually growing up to around 50cm (20inch). They make up for their lack of fur with their unique ability to set themselves on fire at will - it doesn't harm them in any way. Favorite blue anything: Shiloh’s favorite blue thing has to be Blue Jays. He thinks they have such unique and pretty designs. He even collects their feathers and makes them into necklaces for himself he is so interested in the creatures, though he would never get a pet Blue Jay, he believes they were born to be wild and free, and would never want to take that from them.

extra: Shiloh sat underneath the tall, looming oak, curled up under the shade. He had been waiting for something, but it was yet to come. It had only been a few minutes but he was already growing impatient, tapping his tail against the tree roots in annoyance... But finally, he heard the sweet melody of Blue Jays fill the air, a small grin came to his face as he jolted up onto all 4's, watching the flock of Blue Jays fly around the sky, they all landed onto the oak tree branches, perching themselves and continuing their happy song. A frown spread across Shiloh's muzzle, his gaze turning to the turquoise bird-house he had hung up. A week ago he painted it in hopes for a Blue Jay to call it their home, but none of the blue birds had even payed notice, Shiloh let out a huff before storming away.

It had been a month now and Shiloh was fed up with impatience.. He loved the Blue Jays deeply but it slightly annoyed him that none of them even noticed the bird house he took so long to make.. He didn't even want to try anymore but for some reason he still sat under the oak tree. Whenever he had heard the bird's begin their song he watched in awe, but knew deep down they wouldn't want to visit the bird house, he had been lost in thought observing the Blue Jays, he barely even noticed that one had found it's way inside the bird house, at first he didn't think much till it finally came to his senses, "no.. wait.." he muttered, but when his gaze returned he saw the feathery tail of the bird sticking out from the entrance of the house. He let out a yip of happiness, dancing around the roots in joy. "It worked, it worked! They liked my bird house!" he shouted.. The rest of the day he had watched the Blue Jay in the grass, everytime it even slightly admired the house it made his heart flutter, it had been so long but it was worth it! His mission finally succeeded. That night even when he was all cozy in his nest, he was still thinking about the bird and the house. He was providing something he loved so dearly a home, and that seemed to make his entire week.

Personality: Rosalind is often brutally honest, telling others what she perceives to be the truth without regard for others' feelings. Because of this, she tends to be a loner and tries to convince herself that she doesn't need anyone. She can be impatient on occasion, namely when waiting for a plan to come together. This has more than once spoiled her ability to gain a meal in the wild or a nice sleeping spot. Favorite blue anything: Rosalind adores the shifting blues of water, no matter the source. She has traveled the world and is constantly amazed by how the colors can change from brilliantly-blue grottoes to the deep cyan of the sea to the muddy blue-greens of a forest river.

Personality: Ani is has never been very committed to relationships but is committed to herself and any dreams that she has. As a result she is a loner but enjoys her own company, as no-one can tell her what to do to bring her down, but also because she is a very overly confident creature, however she is cautious around new creatures and likes to suss out if they could threaten her or not, after years of being on her own and sussing out other creatures, she is very good at it, and can now do it very quickly. She is very honest, and can sometimes be impatient when you get on the wrong side of her, and can sometimes act out of impulse and not think before she says anything.
Favorite blue anything: she loves everything blue, from the sky, to blue birds, to or blue flower, but her favourite blue thing is the sea and lagoon near were she lives. she loves the way the sea can change colour from the sparkling blue to a dark grey during a storm, and how it can be calm one moment then a ragging monster battering at the cliffs.

short story :

ani stretched and yawned from her quick power nap and heard the gentle laps of the waves on the rough sand and rocks in the distance. she had settle down to rest in a home she had found in the side of a rock. she had made her self a beautifully soft, feather and moss bed and even had a small bunch of flowers growing in the entrance of her cave home. anyone who looked at it from the outside would just see a cave with lichen hanging over the entrance, but you had to be ambitious to see what was inside. and if one was ambitious they would find a very comfortable and cosy home, dry and warm and peaceful. smiling to her self, she stood up, pushed through the lichen entrance and out into the open, brushing past the pretty bluebells that grew beside her home. she followed a small bubbling, and giggling stream towards the lagoon, or as she called it the Azul lagoon, meaning Blue lagoon.

soon enough, the gentle laps of waves on sand grew louder, by this point she was at the lagoon and enjoying the view. here she stood on a the top of a cliff, looking down at the Azul lagoon, separated from the sea by a narrow stretch of lush green grass. to her the blue lagoon and the sea were the best things in the world, hearing the lap or waves made her reel relaxed and safe. humming a little tune she hurried down the cliffs rocks, and ran beside the lagoon, laughing with glee. this was the only place that she felt free. and it would always be her place. her sea. her waves. her Azul lagoon. her home.
