emo bab!
based on deadly nightshade
i really want to keep them, but i sadly can't, so i will be adopting them out. i do request a breeding, though.
for this adopt, i politely ask that you don't change the gender to female, since i kind of meant for them to be male.
(and because i am going to make a female counterpart for them soon)
this will be a neatness competition. all about prettying up!
it's okay if you don't code or pretty up the form much, since i'll still judge by name and all that stuff.
art might give you a bonus

short story/art/extras;
I was created in a lab, born to complete someone else's goal. I lived solely for the purpose of hunting larger predators other than myself. I have traveled a long ways inorder to get to this point. Loosing plenty of battles, but gaining valuable knowledge from my foes. Once i came close to dying. a large jaguar ambushed me from the trees and caught me off guard, i was able to get away but gained some heavy scars on my left side.

gender; identifies as male but prefers to go by they/them
interests; they look at you with big eyes and a slight pout “oh, all I want is the good of the world. My only interest is serving justice, you see my job is placing curses on those who go way too far with their magic” they say giving you an innocent smile. As you continue to glare at them they growl “FINE my true interest is taking over the world that’s all I want... everything!” They give you a wicked smile and lunge, the world fades to black. You awake in a fog where all you can see is a prowling shadow, a voice echoes from everywhere “any last words?”
goals this kiuii wants to accomplish; you blurt out a quick question then realize the answer, word takeover. Duh. The shadow seems to be circling you and you feel like something is watching you “what my goal is.. it’s simple really. I punish those who mess with time and space, but someday I’ll be the king of time. The world will bow to me and me alone!!!” The voice booms out and a cold laugh can be heard. Soon a shape emerges from the fog it’s the Kiuii they stalk towards you growling. They thrust their muzzle into you face them step back with a sweet smile “oh! Don’t worry sugar pie, this won’t hurt a bit” they say with a warm twinkly laugh, you feel safe.

Did I mention space?goals this kiuii wants to accomplish;Oromis, if you couldn't tell, is obsessed with all things extraterrestrial. His dream is to be the first Kiuii in space, and to one day set up a settlement on another world.short story/art/extras;The First Test
"Are you sure about this, Erika?" Oromis asked his little sister uncertainly. He prodded the long, colourful cylinders at his paws. "I don't think these are all that safe..."
"You're such a killjoy, O!" the younger Kiuii pouted. "I made them, how could they not be safe?"
Oromis raised a few of his eyebrows. "You really want me to answer that?"
Erika stuck her tongue out at him and reached for a few fireworks. "Here, take these." She passed them to him, then grabbed the rest and stuffed them in her satchel bag. She gestured for him to do the same. "Come on! We're going to the top of the hill to see what they can do!" She bounded off towards the tall mound that separated the Kiuii village from the forest.
"Erika, wait for me!" Oromis cried out. He quickly shoved the fireworks in his bag and raced to catch up with her — she was much smaller and faster than he. "Mum said we can't go out after nightfall, remember?" he gasped once he'd pulled alongside her. "She saw a coyote up on the hill last night. It's too dangerous--"
"What kind of coyote would be dumb enough to come for us with all the noise that'll be going on?" Erika interrupted smoothly. "Dogs hate loud bangs. Anyway, why do you care so much? You'll just be stargazing, anyway."
They made it to the hilltop and Erika began to set up. She emptied both of their satchels onto the grass and arranged all her rockets where she wanted them, sticking their wooden tails into the soft earth. She called out to Oromis, who was already lying on a mossy patch staring up at the night sky, "Hey! Can I use your matches?"
He shrugged. "Sure. But be careful," he added hastily. He knew his sister very well, and also knew he probably shouldn't trust her with any kind of fire-starting device. Just as long as she doesn't set the whole town on fire, or catch light herself, she'll be fine, he thought, and went back to trying to spot the Dog Star.
"Are you ready?" Erika yelled, her voice breaking in excitement.
"Yeah, yeah," Oromis nodded, not paying too much attention. "Shoot." He wasn't expecting much, maybe a little bit of an explosion. So when the first firework blasted apart in a shower of mesmerising blue sparks, he was blown away (to put it mildly). "Where did you learn to make them so well?!" he spluttered.
"Dad taught me," she answered, equally amazed.
"He never showed me how to make those..." Oromis mumbled, with just a hint of jealousy.
They set off the rest of the fireworks one by one, laughing as their eardrums popped and they dodged flying fireballs. Eventually they reached the last one. "What should we do with it?" Oromis said. "Should we save it?"
Erika looked at it. She reached for it, and was about to light the fuse when they heard a rustling behind them. They spun around and saw a shaggy, rusted-brown coyote cresting over the top of the hill. It was loping towards them, teeth bared. Oromis stood in front of his sister protectively. "Stay there!" he told her. "I'm going to light them up!" He held the still-burning match to the fuse of the firework, and aimed the thing at the oncoming predator.
The coyote was close enough now that Oromis could hear it. He had expected growling of some kind, but what he actually heard was, "No! No! Wait!" It skidded to a halt and held its paws up in a surrender. "I'm not going to hurt you!"
Oromis lowered the firework cautiously. "How can we trust you?"
The coyote walked up to them slowly. "I don't hunt your kind. My family and I rely on our local river for our food." She dug a dried fish out of her small pack as proof. "I just want to talk to you."
"Then talk." Oromis was still disbelieving.
"All I wanted to ask you is would you mind... not lighting your last firework tonight? My kit and I were awoken by it, and we have a long lope to continue tomorrow. We're just passing through, we'll be gone by dawn." She pointed with her nose behind her, where a young pup was nestled under her tail, yawning. "I'm sorry to trouble you."
Erika stepped out from behind Oromis and took the firework from his paws. "I think we can do that," she said softly, and smiled at the mother coyote and her pup, who wagged his tail. "I'm sorry for waking you up, and for my brother's distrust."
"Thank you. You're very kind," said the coyote. "It's understandable, we're your natural predators." She picked up her child by his scruff. "Just remember not to judge all books by their covers!" And with that, she trotted off down the hill and vanished among the trees.
The two Kiuiis walked home silently, still in slight shock and amazement. Neither of them had known of a Kiuii who'd had a run-in with a coyote and survived.
When they got home, they didn't tell their parents of the events that had transpired. In fact, they never told anyone. It was the secret they shared. They made many fireworks after that first successful batch, but they kept the last one from that night, as a small reminder to always be kind, and to give everyone a chance.
