Why they have tracker: Well... Seems you can get into a lot of trouble when you are as fast as light. Zuni is the embodiment of light, he has the ability to travel as light far and wide, but sometimes he gets into to places a little kiuii like himself definitely shouldn't be. Like... Area 51.

Why they have tracker: zara was once a well known thief in her thieves guild, one day the local village had send out police to arrest the thieves for a huge raid that had happened. she had easily given herself up to the police. they had thrown all of them into jail for being suspected of murders. they had placed the trackers on all thieves that were caught. zara had managed to thief her way out of jail, thieving peoples things and using them to create weapons and things to use to escape. she managed to escape and break the tracking but she still to this day can't get it off.

Name: Alloris (Al)
Gender: Male
Why they have tracker: As a baby, Alloris was a very sickly Kiuii, with some disease that would kill him in hours if he didn't receive certain medication in an amount of time. However, Al was also very adventurous and would escape from his bed in the dead of night, exploring the hospital. He would get lost, a lot, and sometimes this caused him to miss his medication. This caused him to go critical multiple times, and finally, a nurse who was very worried for him, got him a permanent tracker (expandable so it can come off with your permission!) and put it on him.

As he grew, Alloris got healthier and larger, though he stayed adventurous. As a full-grown adult, he finally got full health and got rid of his disease. When he was released from the hospital, however, the nurses tried to take off his tracker, having disabled it a few weeks earlier. However, at it's maximum looseness, it kept gutting stuck on Al's paw, but he reassured everyone he was fine with keeping this childhood relic. He still wears it to this day.

Why they have tracker: they were created as a result of illegal cybernetic and genetic engineering in a secret government-run facility — the tracker had been used to track their vitals and movement around the complex... that was, until they broke out during a rebel raid. They now roam the wild forests and meadows that are miles away from their old home. They disabled the tracker, but have never bothered to try and remove it — both because they can't figure out how, and as a reminder of all the other inmates who weren't as lucky as them...

Edit: I really hope this isn't too similar to the first form posted! I had the lab idea before I saw it whoops

Name: Prism
Why they have tracker:

Cell doors and eerie white lab walls were all that Prism ever knew growing up. It was hell. White hell. Prism was the only darkness and colour to be seen in the quiet, rushing catacombs of the lab. At least, she should have been seen. Tall beasts with no fur except for the patch existing on the top of their heads (which Prism had learned to be humans) removed her from the small cell once daily to run tests over her.

With each passing day of trauma and white walls, Prism grew more and more distant. It was as if her colour was fading to disgustingly clean white and one day, it did. Not by much, but it did. Distressed, Prism retreated to the corner of her cell, her breath shallow and quick. When the human who regularly removed Prism from her cage arrived, it looked through the bars at her and she saw emotion in it's eyes. Emotion she'd never seen before; pity.

It opened the door with a creek and instead of attaching the collar and lead as it normally did, it picked her up and ran. Prism didn't know where but they were going fast. On their way, the human swiped down with one hand and grabbed a small object with a flashing red light on it. It swiftly attached this to Prism's ankle. She panicked for a moment but when it didn't hurt her like the small, sharp needles they stuck into her she calmed down. Something in her told Prism to trust the human, so she did.

When they reached a door with a glowing red sign above it reading, "EXIT", it opened the door and placed Prism on the snowy ground outside. White. The snow was white but it was real. It stung the bottoms of her paws and she shivered. She looked back up at the human with a questioning expression but it just shooed her away with a scared expression so she obeyed. Prism ran. Actually ran to the cover of the dense forest. She ducked behind a tall tree with needles for leaves and looked back at the lab. Her savior had been pinned against the wall and was being yelled at by more humans in long, white lab coats. A reassuring red flash from it's pocket. It must be the other side of the tracker. She heard them yell loudly and they slammed the door and for the first time ever, Prism felt an emotion other than fear.
