i picked this gifset of steve rogers from his first movie; captain
america: the first avenger, because it's one of my favourite marvel
movies. (for context, this is what steve says upon being asked by
bucky as to why he repeatedly enlists to fight in wwii despite being
rejected every time due to his poorly physique.)

i really admire steve's unfailing moral compass and sense of duty,
(he's actually my favourite character sdkjsdkf) and i feel that his
personality does reflect that of gamora's, being that despite their
differences, both of them are deeply strong-willed, and righteous.

while they are both in some ways distanced from others - steve for
being frozen in ice for 75 years, and technically being the last living
remnant of the past; and gamora for being the last of her kind, and
a lone wolf due to her harsh upbringing; both of them are inherently
honourable and loyal, deeply caring for their family & friends.
(as steve so famously says in captain america: the winter soldier,,
"i'm with you 'til the end of the line" !!)

facts
➳ the last of her kind, the zen-whoberis. her race was wiped out
as a child, and she was taken in and raised to serve as a weapon.
➳ her motivations as an adolescent were to exact revenge for the
genocide of her race, but she ultimately resolved not to let hatred
rule her heart, and rebelled against her adoptive father in a bid
to free herself from his ruthless ways.
➳ once a mercenary and highly-skilled assassin, gamora held the
title of "the deadliest woman in the galaxy".
➳ gamora currently works with a ragtag team of bounty hunters to
redeem herself for her past crimes.

personality
➳ gamora can be rather stoic & cold at times, but this is due to
her lifetime of being disregarded and treated as little more than a
tool for her adoptive father to gain power. as a result, she bears a
natural distrust for others upon first meeting them, and generally
remains on her guard at all times.
➳ however, upon warming up to others, and then, eventually,
considering them as allies or friends, she'd do anything to defend
the people who mean most to her.
➳ despite once being a criminal herself, she values honour greatly,
and has great disdain for cowardice.
➳ gamora can be ruthless to her foes during combat, but she is not
without mercy; she often resorts to non-lethal incapacitation when
dealing with her enemies, if possible.
➳ despite the ruthlessness with which she may treat criminals, she
is still inherently caring and compassionate to her loved ones.
➳ she is also immensely selfless, and would do anything for the
sake of saving the ones she loves. she would rather sacrifice herself
than to let harm come to the innocent.
➳ due to her harsh upbringing, she resolves not to let other
innocents suffer at the hands of the heartless and cruel. in whatever
way she can, she will try her utmost to help those who require aid.
➳ gamora can be rather serious, and doesn't quite get humour.
she does, however, pop the occasional witty wisecrack and catches
everyone off guard in the process.

Concept:
I have a Star Wars themed kalon, Ckorena, who I have been developing a lot lately. I would love to add another kalon to her AU and make it kind of a Guardians/Star Wars mashup. I would not keep Gamora's character for this kal though, and I was thinking she could be kind of an empress gone rogue. She has been pulled one way or the other by authority figures her whole life, but she is tired of it and wants to go make decisions and form opinions for herself. She disguises herself in rogue/outcast clothes and gets trained by an ex Jedi in secret, which would be total treachery since her family is enemies of the Jedi. She still has some internal conflict though, and sometimes struggles with making the right moral decisions because of her upbringing. I would love to delve into this idea some more. ^_^
