I'd have to say Red Spinel! Its such a clean and well cut gemt aht I simply cant resist!

Extra: Piece of writting + art!
Modrwyd lay in his living space. It was decorated relentlessly with obsidian and spinel of many colours though the colour palette remained red and black in most areas. He rolled over on his back silently, stretching out as his big fluff spanning all over his body reacted. A small gust of wind entered the living space causing the few gems on streamers to jingle against each other in blissful songs. He enjoyed this... So easy to sleep to yet so dangerous. His paws ruffled against the soft crimson rug he lay upon. Ruby orbs piercing the gems above him. They were extremely attractive to him, being dug up from habit of digging. He old few he didn't enjoy however these held sentimental value. They hung astray on the streamer. His ruby orbs watching them shine beautifully with help of the moon and starts though of course his bones broke like branches and so he awaited the next visitor. The next battle. The next friend. He rolled back over onto his stomach silently; staring off into the abyss of darkness. Only the stars and glimmers of the streamer of gems above him lit the path. He wouldn't dare exit his humble abode
