So after consulting with two others I'm ready to announce the winner. Thank you so much to everyone for your entries, I loved reading through them all and seeing all the art that was produced, the winner is very lucky to have such great art.
I have one shout out to give and that's to Lorne Purnima. I loved your character development and nuance and the inspiration you drew from to develop your character. Bryant was a fully fleshed out character. Unfortunately on this occasion you didn't win but if I could duplicate this kal and give you one too I would.

The winner is IlluminatiConfirmed I feel like you really got into the spirit of the competition I was trying to create by producing a wonderful standalone piece. Additionally, your story was so emotive and the ending nearly made me cry. Your animation is also beautiful. Congratulations!

Well done to everyone who entered I had to go with my heart on this as it was so tough to judge!
