Buttercup is a solitary fellow, his favorite thing to do is sit and watch the honeybees work.
It's funny, how much one can learn simply by observing.
He can tell you just about anything about bees, but that alone isn't his talent.
His true talent is his ability to communicate with the honeymakers.
Unless you're a bee, you wont hear more than a hum from him on an average day, but he spends his every waking hour around the hives in the pasture, helping them find flowers to pollinate, protecting them from danger and leading them safely through the fields.
It isn't uncommon to find bees resting on him while he sleeps or while he works, snoring lightly in harmony with their wings' song or humming gleefully along to their buzzing tune.
The first bee he ever helped, and his best friend, is a wingless queen bee he named Henry. Though she could have corrected his error and been anything else, to be called "Henrietta" or something similar, she insists upon keeping the name he gave her originally.

If Timothy could tell you one thing, it would be how hard it is to be among a group of pretty heifers. This bright bull learned to master the art of being adorable in order to be the pride and joy of his owner. Being in the background didn’t suit him - now he’s always the first to trot, ears perked and tail swishing, up to the gate when people pass by. Timothy learned from the barn dogs the invaluable skill of puppy dog eyes. He can beg for attention better than any toddler can, and he quite knows it. Timothy’s hard work has paid off; his knack for cuteness has got him to be the talk of the pasture!

Talent: cowlick has learned, from the neighborly goats, the ability to stand on his back legs. now this involves incredible balance, and it did take him a while to learn to, but it was more than worth it. after working on his balance he found out that he is able to reach the bitterly delicious leaves and the juicy apples that hang above the herd. he not only will gladly take a few from himself, but he also will kindly drop some for those in his herd.. especially for best friend sugar. sugar herself is one of the many heifers and bulls amazed at his talent, and she is one of many who have even attempted herself to learn what he has. even if they don't succeed that doesn't stop them from complimenting him on no only his special talent but also thanking him for the drops of fruits. with the boost of confidence he loves to show his skill but has yet to never once bragged or deny help to his herd asking to get some taste, other than grass, in their mouth. he stands walking about the herd in a joyful, you won't catch him strutting around telling everyone to "look! look at what i can do but you cant." he just simply enjoys standing and enjoys joking around with sugar. no longer may the fruits hang tempting their stomachs.

Maui's owners, Nani and Jason, are young native Hawaiians that have moved to the contiguous states to live out their dream of owning their own farm. However, they haven't managed to get their own farm started and instead work / live on someone else's farm. They also work at a local Hawaiian cuisine restaurant as a hula girl and a fire dancer.

When a very small calf was born to a lovely little cow at the farm, Nani and Jason devoted a great deal of time and effort to making sure he survived and thrived. As a result, Maui became incredibly attached to the pair and often became distressed when they would leave him alone for long periods of time. Because of their other jobs at the restaurant, they had to practice for their performances and were unable to spend as much time with him as he would have liked. As a compromise, they began practicing their routines in Maui's company and he soon began to take an interest in it himself. Before long, Nani and Jason had fully incorporated the bull into their routine. Maui is quite the talented hula dancer himself, and he's always a big hit with the crowd.
