The unamused, but caring eyes of Ambriel looked over at her little brother, Theo. He was small for an angel. Smaller than a normal Viscet with Peter Pan syndrome. That never stopped him from being the caring little mess that he was. Out of all of Ambriel's siblings he was the only one who really cared enough to stick around. Ambriel watched as Theo jumped in and out of clouds. He carried a white blanket in his hands. It was clean and pure. Nobody knew where it came from. It appeared one night while he slept. He claimed it was a gift from god, a sign of hope. None of us knew where he was, but this made Ambriel believe that their father was still out there. That or the love that she felt around Theo. Theo landed on a small cloud not too far away from Ambriel and started coughing none stop. Ambriel knew her brother was weak, she loved him no matter what. Most of the angels have on mission, to protect heaven. Ambriel had an even bigger mission, protect Theo. She rushed over to him scooping him up in her arms and cradling him like a baby. She sat him down and grabbed him by the hand. The look in her brother's eyes was something no other angel sowed her, affection, Love. Theo wrapped his arms around Ambriel. His soft eyes closing and letting out a tear.
"Thank you, Ambriel. Thank you for taking care of me."
Ambriel closed her eyes and embraced her brother's soft fur. Out of all the battles she had fought, all the victories she won. This is what really mattered. She was more than his guardian angel, she was his sister. Ambriel looked her brother in his big droopy eyes.
"Lets get you home." She opened her wings and carried her brother off into the distance.



Ambriel set her brother down at the table. She flew into the kitchen and started to prepare soup. She set the warm bowl in front of him and encouraged him to drink. Theo lift up the bowl and started taking small sips. Ambriel sat at the chair across from him. "Are you well?" She asked seriously. He eyes tried to read his face, but he just looked down into the bowl of boiling soup.
"I want...Gasp...To...Gasp...lay down." Theo broke into a coughing fit and Ambriel rushed over. Picking her little brother up and carried her brother down to his room. She put his blanket over him and wrapping him in even more soft blankets.
Ambriel laid down next to him and waited for him to fall asleep.

What Does family mean to them?:

a family isn't all about being blood-related its the friendships and bonds with the people we love that makes us shine, I never understood this until I meet two of my most amazing friends I have ever known. I use to live on the streets alone and hungry... But then I meet the most amazing person ever.

She was tiny like me, and much like myself Aviator also had a disability, from what I understand she has some type of brain dysfunction that left her tiny, and nearly blind But boy you should she her-go, when she plays those drums she's like a wildfire, let loose on a dry field.

Both of us loved exploring and use to go all over the place, we ended up in some fantasy kingdom where we meet another small Viscet by the name of Ziggy, He's would and crazy and even though he's paralyzed from the waist down when he's in his wheelchair he can almost fly. OH and here's the best part, He's a Prince!!! His family allows me and Avi to stay with them, even though we aren't family by blood. I, Ziggy and Avi are the closest of friends.

What is family to me you may ask? Well, Family is a lot of things, but to me, a family is the people who will love you no matter your flaws, no matter your disabilities, be it blindness, paralyzed or just too weak. I can't fly but that doesn't stop Ziggy and Avi from loving me like a sister. And guess what, I overheard the King and Queen talking about adopting me and Avi! so maybe one day I can tell you what that feels like!
