A lover of all things dark and creepy is the simplest way to describe this complex Buttermilk.

Usually found mumbling about "spells" or settled under the full moon's gentle rays, Raika is surely one strange gal. She studies all sorts of flowers and crystals, typically looking over their "healing" properties. She is very analytical and sometimes may completely overthink a situation. Raika's quite a soft-spoken and introverted heifer, keeping to herself as she rambles on to herself about peculiar things that may be haunting her mind. When the sun sets below the horizon and the moon peeks from its spot from behind the wispy clouds is when Raika can be found out and about. The night seems to be the only time any of the others of the herd can coax her out. Raika appears to find the moon more enchanting than anything else, occasionally resting on the tallest hill of Black Rose Cove to admire its beauty in peaceful silence. Though a lot of the time, Raika may be found in one of the caves on the island, brewing what she would say is a "potion," which never seems to actually cause any sort of effect.

Those in the herd may even complain that Raika is far too creepy. She speaks with a low monotonous voice that tends to be void of all emotions. Well, yes, Raika does show her emotions physically, the way she speaks can be very hard to read. She never seems annoyed when others start getting frustrated over that flat tone in her voice, struggling to figure out if what she had said was sarcastic or not. And, it appears as if she gets joy out of sneaking up on the other herd members, ears seeming to flick silently in joy when the other jump nearly out of their skin. It as if she gets a rise out of purposely creeping out her herd members. Raika tends to collect what they may consider odd trinkets-- skulls, crystals, dried flowers.

It takes some time for Raika to feel anger. She is hard to upset, usually flicking her ear or laughing lowly at something that may have happened or been said. She tends to be very laid back and melancholy, despite not showing her emotions 100% of the time. She's very reserved, hardly warming up to someone unless they appear in her life more than once. It takes some time for Raika to trust someone, as she was hurt more than once in her past. And, despite the hard outer layering she appears to hide behind, Raika is truly very sensitive. It may come from the other members of the herd whispering behind her back or making snide comments to her as she goes about her day as peacefully as possible. They usually don't ever see how it truly affects her mentally. Though, she chooses to show this side of herself when she is alone. It may usually end with her bawling her eyes out, begging to the moon and the stars for relief from the horrid feelings as she curls alone.

Some may think Raika cannot feel love or empathy. And even she thinks this. Though, both are entirely wrong. Raika does not lack empathy, despite it seems quite a bit that she does lack it. For love, it is as simple as saying that she just has not truly found the right bull or heifer to love. And can you blame her? For never leaving her caves until the night, Raika is hardly ever going to run into someone she may find herself enchanted by. Though when it does come to love, she is entirely a new person. Mushy, giggling, stammering. And the butterflies in her stomach is not a feeling she is used to. Raika usually tends to be easily flustered when it comes to romance, blushing deeply as she giggles a soft response. Hardly anyone has ever seen her react like this, or even show that many emotions!

Overall, Raika is quite the interesting character. Some may just call her a witch while others say just plain creepy.

Raika has an odd habit of keeping small mental notes to herself about her fellow herd members.

These can range from their physical features to their tiniest little pet peeve. It usually consists of their favorite foods or colors or smells. How they smell or talk, how they deliver their thoughts or even what may trigger their tempers to go off. Oddly, their weights and their heights, their sleeping schedule. Their hobbies and interests. Even their more personal lives, such as who they are dating or who their family is. Raika keeps a mental note of it all.

To her, it's not creepy or odd as others may say, it's merely her being able to understand her peers more and get to know how they react to certain situations by just watching them from afar. Raika is simply studying them, pinpointing things that grind their gears to what makes a smile curl on their faces. She uses it as a way to be able to later associate with them without bringing up topics that may anger or sadden them and even gift them with little things she happens to notice they enjoy, merely to bring joy to their day.

While she is usually considered strange and creepy, Raika does enjoy making friends and making others happy.
