Izzy's Antics ☆ Episode 001 Rainbow Treats!

[Fade In]
Izzy's room, large rainbow poster behind her. Two small rainbow flags on either side of her.

Izzy: "Hello there!" she grins. "Welcome to my channel. My name is Izzy and today we are doing some baking with Dribble."

Dribble waves nervously. "Hey."

Izzy wafts a warm plate of cookies under Dribble's nose. "Today we're going to show you how to bake these! Here are some I made earlier."

Dribble picks up a piece of paper lying by her paw and held it up for the viewers to see. "This is the recipe." She put it down again as Izzy began to hold up different ingredients.

"First, we'll preheat the oven. It will grow hotter as we make the cookies." A shot of the oven set to 350 appears. Izzy then comes back into view. "Dribble, you should combine flour, baking soda, and salt in this bowl" - Izzy hands a metal bowl to Dribble, who begins to mix them together - "and then set it aside."

As Dribble quickly finished mixing them together, she set it aside and then smiled at Izzy, pushing more ingredients towards her. "You should do this now."

Izzy nodded and addressed the camera. "How I'm going to be combing the shortening and sugars until they're completely one and creamy." She mixed that up very hard, panting slightly, then held up an egg and a bottle of vanilla extract. "Then I'll add eggs and the extract."

Dribble held up the bowl of flour, salt and baking soda to the camera, tilting it so viewers could see inside. "We'll now add this to the other bowl." She tilted it and poured it into the liquid mixture. Izzy lifted the spoon and mixed it hard.

"Mix it well," she told the viewers, "Until it forms a dough."

[The scene cuts to shot of them dividing the dough up into sections.]

"We'll make seven parts so it will be rainbow," Izzy explained. She handed three parts to Dribble, who took red, orange, and yellow food colouring, and then chose the last four colours.

Dribble placed a drop of each colour on the three pieces of dough. She began to knead it into the dough, as Izzy did the same with her four. "We're dying each part a different colour," Dribble explained.

Izzy finished the green and blue and began to work on purple. Dribble picked up the pink one and finished it for her. "Now we'll add the chocolate chips," Izzy said as they lined the coloured dough up.

Dribble shook out some chips onto the table, popping one into her mouth. "Mmm! Yummy." Izzy elbowed her and began to fold the chocolate nibbles into the dough laid out in front of her.

Dribble sighed and did the same with her pieces. Then they carefully separated the dough lumps into smaller lumps and packed them into small cookie shapes, eventually placing them on the baking sheet.

[The shot switches to Izzy putting the cookies in the oven, and then again to the table, with a steaming plate of rainbow swirl cookies in front of the two.]

"And here they are! Shall we try one, Dribble?" Izzy suggests. Dribble looks up, crumbs around her mouth, and Izzy laughs. "Alright then!" She nibbles daintily on a cookie and then waves at the camera. "Bye! That's all for today. Oh - but don't forget to check out the original creator of this recipe!" The two bakers nibble on the rest of the cookies, joined by Erin and Slushie.

𝐏𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐏𝐓

XXXThe tiny Viscet opened her chocolate brown eyes to see the sun peeping through her curtains. She raised a paw to turn off her blaring alarm clock, which showed her it was 7:00 a.m. Her first day of school! Brynn tossed her rainbow blanket off and slipped out of bed. Her parents were waiting for her in the kitchen with a plate of buttermilk pancakes and sausage links - her favorite! Brynn scarfed down her breakfast as quick as she could before running back to her room to get ready. She checked her backpack once again to make sure all of her supplies were inside. Pencils, pens, pencil case, erasers, paper, binder, the lunch she had packed last night - everything was set!

XXXOnce she knew her stuff was ready, Brynn went to the bathroom adjoined to her room to brush her teeth and fluff out her mane. She looked at herself in the mirror and frowned. Oh, how she hated bed head! And poor Brynn was notorious for it, too. Using a comb, she roughly tried to flatten out the kinks in her multi-hued mane. It was no use. The kinks wouldn't come out! Even attempting to slick it out with some gel was futile. Giving up, Brynn went ahead and brushed her teeth. She went back into her room to hug her favorite stuffed toy, Cookie, for luck. He was a soft, velvety chocolate chip cookie with silky rainbow frosting accents. Once she'd gotten her hugs in and said her goodbyes to Cookie, Brynn headed to the bus stop with her parents to anxiously wait for the bus.

XXXAs the bright yellow bus approached, Brynn hugged both of her parents. They told her that everything was going to be okay, and she was going to love school. Byrnn grabbed the straps of her backpack as the bus came to a screeching halt in front of them. As the door creaked open, Brynn wrinkled her nose at the stench of the exhaust. She waved back to her parents as she hopped up the steps before turning around to find a seat. Most of the seats in the back were already filled. There was one that was empty about halfway down, so she plopped herself into it.

XXXShe stared out the window, the butterflies in her belly getting more active the closer they got to the school. Another Viscet started kicking the back of her seat, but Brynn just ignored them. Suddenly, the kid sitting behind her leaned over the back of her seat and poked her in the face. She glared at him, but he just gave her a stupid grin and asked her if she was gay. Shocked, Brynn told him no and tried to turn away. He yanked on her mane and stated that she must be lying because only gay Viscets had rainbow patterns. Suddenly, the kid was yanked back and pushed into his seat!

XXXA large female Viscet was standing in the aisle between the seats. Brynn looked up at her. The new Viscet looked sort of like a husky, with a gorgeous reddish brown pelt. She was glaring down at the boy who had been tormenting Brynn. She told him that she'd better not see him messing with anyone again, especially if he was going to be accusing anyone of being gay. She wasn't afraid of telling on him nor was she afraid of getting in a fight, and if it came to a fight then he had no chance of winning. When she asked if he understood, the boy just nodded quickly and turned away. The girl lowered herself into the seat beside Brynn and held out a paw, introducing herself as Ruby.

XXXBrynn told Ruby her name and said thank you. Ruby said that it was no sweat, and that she had no patience with bullies like that. Nobody deserves to get bullied, least of all for something they can't control like whether they like girls or boys. Ruby and Brynn chatted the whole way to school. The longer they chatted, the less active the butterflies in Brynn's belly became. They found out they were in the same class and had many similar interests, including hugging stuffed animals for luck before heading to school! The girls became fast friends and were hardly ever apart after that. All because of a bully!
