Personality: Leaum is a rather energetic gator who may not be the brightest but is supportive to a fault. He's a very inclusive guy who prides himself with a colorful past and a wide range of friends. It's not all to difficult to get on his good side, as he's almost always willing to give anyone a who wants to get close to him a shot at becoming someone he cares about deeply. Most of coarse don't make it very, but that's to be expected, as not everyone he comes into contact with will stay in his life for long. When not trying to make nonsensical jokes, Leaum is either making plans or trying to live in the moment (which let's face it, is almost impossible to do with so many great and free apps that are just waiting to be downloaded and played on his phone). He finds that it's almost a blessing when the blasted thing finally dies as he can't put his phone down for long while it still has power. It's a good thing the flower shop he works at bans phones while you're on the job, cause he wouldn't get anything done if that wasn't the case.

Ruben's perspective:
Ruben has always dreamed of being a writer from a young age. But he never thought it possible.
Until now. He now stood in front of Lacy's publishing. Where most of his favorite books were published from.
Slowly he entered excitedly. As he walked through the company towards the main office. Another gator caught his eye.
Her fur was like a beautiful red rose in spring. For some reason, he felt drawn towards her in an unusual way.
His eyes continued to take her in. Up until his guide caught his attention with a tap on his shoulder. The guide a small female gator seemed to rush Ruben towards the office. But before he entered he turned around once more to the place where the rose gator was once standing. She was gone. Like a wonderful daydream. He looked all around the office. But nothing. With a now stilled mind to the only thought that crossed his mind. "Was I just dreaming?" He entered the office, in the back of his mind wondering.
Throughout the interview, he felt a throb in his heart like he had forgotten something very dear and important to him.
By the time he had left the office the thought of the red rose gator had faded into his subconscious.
Like a distant memory, it stayed there. Forgotten until awoken by another.
Red rose's perspective:
The day that she saw Ruben again her heart beat so loudly. She thought all could hear it.
But no, everyone just continued with their work In the publishing company. As she looked around at all who worked she felt a gaze upon her. One that she had not felt in a long long time. She had missed that feeling. Before the accident, everything was normal, unchanged, and beautiful. But now everything had drastically changed. Like that time was just a dream never to return. Ruben had forgotten his memory of her. At first that had made her feel so very lifeless. And dull. And it still does. But whenever she barely saw him she felt her heart race and come back to life. She had to continually remind herself that he was different now. That he was not the Ruben she had fell in love with. But still, her heart went unchanged. On occasion, she would check in on him. Even though she didn't have the right she felt lost and incomplete if she didn't. But that day he had seen her. And she knew that something had clicked inside of him when he saw her face. For many times he had made that face when he had figured out a riddle or a puzzle. Her heart said stay. But her mind said flee. For a few minutes, she had stood gazing into his soft, gentle, eyes. She had missed those eyes looking into hers for so long. As he turned away from her she sadly rushed from the center of the room to hide into the shadows. There she watched him look for her. Her heart wanted to scream, "Don't stop looking for me. I'm right here!" But nothing escaped from her lips. He couldn't know about her. Not now but maybe just maybe in the future.

A Goblin Gator who is presumed to be quite the grump is Heathcliff, named after a character from a book called Wuthering Heights.

Heathcliff is not your average Goblin Gator with their quick trickery and inclusiveness. Instead, he is more of a Goblin Gator who will devise a good plan days, months, or years beforehand. He will do the dirty work of many of his colleauges that live in an isolated swamp that is out far from humanity for a variety of different reasons. Simply because each and every Goblin Gator there is too crazy to be in humanity, or they're too dangerous to be near anyone but those who are able to overcome the dangerous parts of them.

Heathcliff looks as if he's the one to act like quite the gentleman, when in fact, he is not deep within. Instead, Heathcliff has a darkness inside of him. Why he has the darkness there and what caused the darkness is a mystery, but it is there lingering because of the trauma he had experienced when he was a young Goblin Gator. As mentioned earlier, he does look as if he's a gentleman and will often try his best to allow others to see that more bright side to him, until eventually he loses it and breaks down. When having a break down, Heathcliff will either snap at anyone who is near him, or he decides to isolated himself in his large living quarters for a long period of time and will often stay there until it blows over once again.

Now, when Heathcliff isn't having one of his bad days, he is quite respectable and will have typical conversations with the other residents in the isolated swamp. After all, just because the swamp is isolated from most humanity doesn't mean the neighbors don't connect with one another. In fact, most of the other Goblin Gators will interact with one another. The only one who doesn't communicate is Heathcliff because of the issue with his darkness that he can't seem to overcome. But agaun, Heathcliff is very respectable in the community and talks with smarts and respect to the others in the community. He is quite the joy to be around, even if he may not seem like it considering what his darkness can do. But Heathcliff does live in a very accepting community, so they help him through it, even if Heathcliff chooses not to say anything about his past.

Because Heathcliff is also extremely secretive, it gives off that he is also quite the mystery. Anyone who knows Heathcliff or who has heard of him wonders about him in some way. So in all, he is a Goblin Gator with a very complex personality. There is more to him than you can see with the naked eye. His true self and all of his secrets? They lie within.

Background:

Not much is known about Heathcliff's life before he came into the isolated Swamp. All people know is what one Goblin Gator in the Swamp knows, which just so happens to be the founder of the small isolated area.

It was a cold, rainy night when Matthias, the leader of the small group of isolated Goblin Gators, was on his way home from a trip. Naturally, it was a long walk, so it was around one in the morning, which added to why it was extremely cold. Matthias had no company with him, so when he heard the splashing of water as if something was following him, he instantly grew into defense mode, which showed his obvious aggression. Though, it seemed that there had been nothing following him, even though he suspected otherwise. Maybe it was the pitter-patter noise that the rain made upon hitting the ground was what Matthias figured after discovering nothing following him. So he began to again walk along the shallow regions of the swamp, where he wasn't completely underwater, but able to walk. Matthias had been walking for about fifteen minutes until he heard the splashing behund him once again. This time, Matthias didn't make it obvious that he had heard the thing following him and perk up his hears or stop, instead, he suddenly turned his head. But what he saw surprised him greatly. This was no threat. In fact, it seemed almost inhumane to see what had been following him. It turned out to be nothing more than a child. A Goblin Gator child.

"What are you doing out here kid?" Matthias would ask the young goblin gator, who was as soaked as Matthias was. He noticed that the kid was shivering because of how cold it was, and how cold the rain was. Without a response, Matthias picked up the young Heathcliff, carrying him by the scruff on his neck. From there, Matthias was quick on his feet to get back to the isolated swamp of goblin gators with the kid. Once he arrived, he instantly settled down in his house with the child, carefully placing him down in his den. Matthias looked down on the kid, who soon walked up to him and snuggled right into his chest fur. Almost instantly after, the young Heathcliff was asleep right next to Matthias.

That next day, the mystery of where Heathcliff came from and why he was left alone began spreading between the others already. The others in the Swamp have theories, but nothing more than that.
