Nifflers are magical creatures that have pouches much bigger on the inside than they appear / is typical of ordinary animals, and they are very attracted to shiny things and treasures. Friday is a full-time con-artist and thief, so having this little fella around helps her pull off her robberies and cons. She often has to struggle with Bean to get the items back once they're in his pouch, though, especially the jewels and really shiny things! Friday sometimes uses simple charms on him to change his appearance, usually to change his fur green to match his name.

companion : A big hulking dog bird creature. This big fella's name goes by Bjartr, he's pretty chill most of the time but he can be pretty energetic when they find stuff like old ruins, which fair. He gets excited about those too. They met a while ago, due to a freak accident which ended in them both being imprisoned in a high security prison. It was totally not his fault when he saw this obnoxious dude-bro with a high title harassing this nice girl who didn't want to get in trouble but clearly uncomfortable with the situation she was in. So naturally he swung his right hook at the dude-bro and the lady gave him a grateful look before scampering off, no doubt to get away from the harasser as quickly as possible. He hadn't noticed when the dude-bro stood up and lunged at him. However Bjartr, intervened and intercepted the dude-bro by tackling him. He swears that he didn't laugh....that much. Some tall guys who were apparently the guy's bodyguards had come and restrained them, and the dude-bro kept yelling that they should be put to the death for this, it was pretty funny since he was still staggering. They didn't even get a trail because apparently the dude-bro came from old money. Dumb, but he now had a new friend so he wasn't complaining too much. Plus they escaped like 3 weeks later using a fork and a blanket.
