The reason I picked this name was its use in one of my favourite books, "Sabriel" by Garth Nix. The main character was named Sabriel, and she found herself taking on her father's duty of helping to guide and ferry lost souls either to their final rest or back to life, and to learn information from them about the world. She was a character who showed great determination and courage; this Galvani's set expression and dark colours reminded me of this character, and the gleaming light of her eyes gives her an almost ghostly or otherworldly aura. I'd imagine that this Galvani would have a similar personality to the character as well - calm and reasonable, as well as brave and fierce. Her personality might also be a bit prickly, like the Sabra plant!
