Name:Lilly The Witch
Gender:Female
Prompt Response:A silver staff and armbands, the magic of the staff or armbands wont work unless the item are nearby each other.
Everyone knows how important a broom is to a witch.
Without one it would hard to tell whether they were a
witch, a mage or a wizard, even though Lilly uses a staff,
she still identifies herself as a witch.
Now why does she use a staff and how did she get it?
Well one day Lilly was strolling though the
forest as usual, looking for ingredients for an experimental
potion she was trying to make. It was a rather
lovely day in the woods, the trees and grass were
lush green, the flowers of several colors were
much more vibrant than the flowers you may
have growing in your yard, there were beautiful
birds singing out as flew around looking for a
meal and the river was so clear you could see
the silver fish hurrying along in hopes to not be
caught. This sounds like an unordinary place for
a witch to be but this was how it was every day
where Lilly lived.Though being a witch she much
preferred the bright forest rather than a gloomy
swamps where witches were 'supposed' to live.
So as she followed the path softly humming
to herself as she picked mushrooms on the side
of river scaring a gray fawn off by accident witch led
her to notice a strange chest looking item on the
bottom on the river she was beside.
Curious, Lilly jump into the water and dove down
to fetch the chest and hoped it wasn't to heavy.
If you hadn't lived in the woods, you would
probably think the river was very
shallow as the clear water often created thay
illusion, but Lilly knew it quite deep and made sure
she had enough breath to reach the bottom and
back. Luckily when she reached the chest, she
found it wasn't that heavy and she was able to drag
it back up to the surface. When she reached the
river bank she was definitely not where she started
off as the river, though not that fast or strong, had
carried her away when she was getting the chest
to the surface. Lilly shook the water from her hair
and fur then took a look at the chest. She was
surprised to find the chest was about the same
size as her and she knew it must of been
enchanted if it was that light. The chest was locked
and was to rusted to try and pick the lock so
instead the took a rock and broke the lock so she
could open it and when she did she found a
silver staff with a vine pattern around it and two
matching arm bands. She reluctantly picked up
and on the armbands curious as to what they
might do and as soon as she a strange emerged
from the river. The old looking kalon was dull gray
iin color with white speckles down their back like the stone by the river and their hair was
a pleasant blue that faded to green like the sky's reflection on the calm
river and their eye were a bright yellow like the setting sun and they had two antlers covers in moss atop their head. The stranger approached Lilly and for
some reason, Lilly felt no fear towards the stranger
"Hello young one, i am Fawn, the witch who once
owned what lays in the chest."
"Oh, im so sorry, i just saw the chest and wanted-"
"Don't aplogize, for the chest was there for you to
find as you were meant to own those items when
you came of age. Little do you those once belonged
to mother, and her mother, and your great
grandmother and i could go on as the staff and arm
bands have been passed on for quite some time.
Your mother was a dear friend of mine and gave me
those item to keep safe untill you were old enough
to properly use them, and now that you are and have
found chest you are now a true witch." Said Fawn.
This was a lot for Lilly to take in but none the less
she was glad to have something of her mother as
she had passed away when Lilly was still very young.
The looked down at the bands and staff for moment
as she tried to take in all this new information but
when she looked up there a was splash and Fawn
was gone. Still speechless she picked the staff
and it and the arm band faintly glowed and Lilly felt
a new energy flow though her as she held the staff.
She felt powerful or like she could run forever and
never get tired or out of breath.
She carried the staff back to where she had set down
her bag full of mushrooms and berries and attached
the staff to a strap on the side of her bag but where she
could easily grab it whenever she needed to. Though
she had only just found the staff, she felt a if her
mother had came down and personally handed her
the armbands and the staff and Lilly vowed to never
take off the armbands unless needed and never let the
staff out of sight as they were now to most special
things to her she had ever owned.
