Yes. In both cases this is allowed.

Wings need to be attached to the body. ^-^

You may make any alterations to a design you wish before getting it approved without the use of items. Once approved, however, you cannot make changes. An artist entry is not an official Kalon until a slot is used and a staff member approves it, therefore you can change it up if desired.

Hello! I created a custom myo and posted it on the approvals thread, but it’s been three weeks and I was wondering if I could send it to a staff member instead! When I read the rules it seemed more like an either/or deal, so I wanted to make sure that that would be okay!

At the moment, no. The pets / C$ shop has no plan to reopen, so the only way to get a MYO (as well as a shine edit at the moment) would be purchasing one through dA. uvu

Because the kalon is not considered an official kalon until it is approved, you will need to wait one week from approval to breed a kalon.
