WHAT IS A DEERSSERT?
Deerssert are a mystical, mythological species that appear in history every so often. Sightings grew sparser and sparser through the years, but now they've started to appear more and more. Here at the HQ, a centre dedicated to keeping these creatures from being hunted, we cannot foster them all-- and that's where you come in!

The simplest way to explain them? Deersserts are deer with a twist! While the specifics vary from deer to deer, they all have a few things in common. Deersserts have muscle, skin, fur and bone, but they are described as tasting like sweets. Their scent lingers so much that hides carry a fragrant scent even after death. Instead of fluffy tails, they have a pouf of whipped cream or ice cream [depending on the deer!] with some manner of fruit on top.

Size-wise, they're about the size of a border collie, but have been known to grow to the size of a horse in rare cirucmstances. [In even rarer circumstances, they have gotten bigger. This is the largest deerssert known.] Likewise, they are born as small as a full-grown rabbit, and some never progress past this size.

My favorite food? Ah.... You promise you won’t laugh? Really? Ok.. Macarons. They’re such a treat, with their creamy centres and delicious variety of flavours. They do take a little effort to prepare from scratch but I think it’s worth it.

Drax enjoys making all flavours of macarons, except dragonfruit. Drax has always found it weird when a deerssert eats what they're made out of. Plus, he dosen't like the taste of dragonfruit, especially in macarons. Despite his refusal to bake anything dragonfruit, Drax is a wonderful baker and has been experimenting with new flavours of macarons, such as raspberry lemon lime. Though no matter what the flavour is, his macarons always leave a smile on the guests face.

xxIlluyanka is very friendly, and whenever he has guests over, he
xxalways makes sure that he has at least some cream puffs ready.
xxWhen he first started making them, he used to follow a recipe
xxguide, and was always afraid of making them improperly.
xxHowever, over time, he got quite good at making cream puffs,
xxso he ended up experimenting and giving his desserts a few
xxtwists to them. All his friends love to come over, because they
xxabsolutely love the surprise that each batch Illuyanka makes
xxhas. Sometimes the puffs will have strawberries, other times
xxthey'll have bits of mangoes or blueberries, or even coconut...
xxbut, no matter what, it's always a surprise!

his go to move is candied bacon, a dish as complex in flavor as him. Sweet and Savory are a perfect match and Drake can always up the theatrics while making it. He lives for the look in his guests eyes as he pulls out a blowtorch - excitement, worry, and awe all in one. He knows it will taste perfect, but if his guests don't like the dish it doesn't phase him on bit. Drake is arrogant, he knows he is the best in the business and the youngest on top of that. He knows what he wants and he gets it, even if that involves some manipulation. Nothing is off limits to Drake, and he'll make sure it stays that way.

Drake isn't known for having many friends, perhaps more enemies than anything. There is one deerssert in particular in which he has a very complicated relationship. His name is Sinclair, a very popular fashion designer and model. They aren't exactly friends, nor can they be classified as enemies. They hang out, yes - but they also are both arrogant and competitive and have to prove who is better. Sinclair is learning to cook just to beat Drake, and well; Drake has begun studying fashion just to prove he's the number one. They've spent a lot of late nights together with pointless competitions, is there something more? Tabloids seem to think so but will the two of them ever admit competition isn't the only reason they're always together?

He is strong, capable, famous - but everyone has their flaws. Drake's biggest flaw is his fear of commitment and having feelings in general. He was raised to think that his emotions were a weakness, something to be exploited and therefore should be blocked out and ignored. Perhaps that is why he is so closed off and arrogant now, a persona to hide the emotions he keeps locked away. Cooking has become more than a job for Drake; it's his escape.

i loved the amount of detail in their writing, though detail is not always a good idea, if used right it can be an awesome addition! not only did they talk about their favourite dish to prepare, they also talk about his personal life and what he is like!
