As far as I've gotten to know this Grelifcent myself as I prepared him for adoption, the extra hairs keep him warmer around the knees and rump. He is able to manage the cold weather a little better than the common and regular Grelifcents.

Do note;
Mutation aren't always bound to only one or a family tree. It's possible another Grel will carry mutation alike. It'll just look rather different, and be other locations or shapes or sizes. Foals are more likely to look more alike to the parents, while another is completely different. A Grelifcent Mutant can pair with a regular or another grel with mutation. It can be the same mutation or different.
