Sure, tell her she's got a name similar to the cereal,
color that makes you taste sour tape in your mouth,
and candy stuck on her that looks like pop rocks and
juice-flavored heart candies,but nothing will convince
her that gummy candy isn't the best candy out there.

She was a chew kind of deer, not someone who'd wait
for the candy to melt in her mouth like jawbreakers
and mint candies. She loved the burst of flavor that
came into every chew, and for this she despised the
piece of bubblegum that she couldn't swallow. Mallows
were a close second to her, but were there different
flavors for them? She didn't think so.

And what wasn't to love about gummies? There were
different shapes and sizes, colors and flavors. There
were the classic gummy bears whose head you could
bite off before they bit off yours; there were the cola
gummies that made you think you were drinking the
actual soda; there were the shark gummies you're sure
you wouldn't be afraid of when you saw them; there
were pizza and burger and hotdog gummies, what a
meal that would've been! She could go on and on about
gummies, and at a candy store she would never stop
looking for them.
