I've always been pretty into those manga-style cartoons. I know it's pretty basic, but I absolutely adore the "love at first sight" panels. You know the ones- the cute girl is framed by a soft pink glow in a freeze-frame moment, and her admirer is caught in utter shock and admiration. She offers him a token- like a flower. He swoons and they're both completely infatuated. Flora... Flora is not like those girls. Flora, an avid gardener, often finds herself with a ridiculous overflow of flowers and tries to dump them on everyone else share them with the world, but the way she goes about it is... less than graceful. The local kids actually gave her a nickname because of how she goes about giving away her petal-laden prizes. "Did you see her...Shhh man, she's coming this way! I heard she scared Thimble so bad, he walks home from school through the old graveyard to avoid her.... Shut up man, she's walking this way.... Florocious." The adorable dappled kalon skips her way down the street, petals dancing in the warm summer breeze behind her, scattering from the basket held in her teeth. Three young kits, still in school, freeze as she gently sets her basket down in front of them. "Would you kids like some flowers?" she asks, her kind blue eyes sparkling with genuine kindness in the sunlight. "No...no th-thanks" The kits mumble, scuffing the ground with their paws. "We- we're ok Miss F-Flora!" Flora smiles down at them with slightly narrowed eyes, tail twitching lightly. "I insist! Take the flowers, I have too many and it'll make the town a prettier place!" "No...No thank you!" "TAKE THE FLOWERS." Shockingly, after the fierce yelling from our young heroine, the flowers are taken and there are usually many mumbled "Thank you...." before she picks up her basket and continues on down the street, leaving only the good-hearted and well-meant memory of Ferocious Flora and a couple of flowers in her wake.

Damien wandered through town holding a bouquet he was quite distraught as the date someone set him up with stood him up.
He walked with his head low until he looked up to see another kalon looking just as sad as he was. Being able to empathize with this sad creature, He pulled a flower from his bouquet, It was a lovely light red carnation still dewey from being watered recently. He reached his paw out to the slumped kalon holding the flower. The kalon looked up at him and was pleasantly surprised at this gift. What a strange thing it was to give strangers gifts,but here they were.He gave a sheepish smile as the kalon took his offering. they looked down at this gift and back up to him "thank you! my mother loved carnations,she said if you share with the world it will share with you" and damien did get something in return. He had a magical feeling, he felt warm inside and he became happier than he was moments before a smile spread across his face as he skipped and fluttered through the town. He came across many other Kalons that day and offered them a carnation as well,Only wanting to see them smile in return, his generosity made him just as happy as the people receiving gifts.
