personality:
Mokusei is a bit like a dip cone- they're kind of snarky and rude on the outside, but inside that shell, they are sweet, soft and loving. Just don't go to fast, or you might get that biting cold.
Mokusei is kind of scary when you first meet them. Though they aren't the biggest creature, they have a strong bite. It's a bit hard to get them to warm up to you, but once those walls fall away, they will be your loyal friend no matter what. They will stand with you through thick and thin, helping you up to the top of the cliff of your strong moments, or bandaging your knee at the bottom if you slide down.
That hard exterior isn't gone, though- no, now you're just inside it with them. If someone were to hurt you, that can very well be the end of them existing in your mind. Mokusei will do anything it takes to get toxicity out of your life, often forgetting to rid themself of it. You must not forget to remind Mokusei to take a nap or a drink, and rest for a minute- they're almost always overworked and forget to calm down, resulting in them possibly snapping at you. They are soft and loving towards a friend, but can leave a nasty beware on a threat to their friends' happiness.
It may seem hard to approach them at first, what with their hard exterior, but you may even find it harder once you learn they're a sweetheart if you don't figure it out yourself- a brief moment of "how do I get that out of THAT???". But not to worry, it's quite easy to approach them. Just make sure they know you're not a threat and make sure you leave if they want you to.
They have a hard time projecting their feelings into words, making wordless noises of happiness or anger, or just glaring. You have to be able to pick up on those cues, but they understand if you have a hard time at first.
Mokusei also understands if you too have a hard time opening up- and they would love to get to know you. They have a curious nature, liking to do nothing more than learn about the behaviors of their peers. It may come off as creepy to some, but they love learning the ticks of those around them, just getting into their head.
