Who is their best friend and why?: Gloria's best friend is the little sparrow that comes to visit her every day. She doesn't know his name, but she calls him George, and the little bird sings whenever she greets him in the morning with a snort. Originally, he came down to the stables to eat little bits of grain out of the horses feed, but also stays by her side the whole day, either flying with her when she moves, or sitting on her wither gently, singing happily.

Seti was found apparently abandoned in the hay store at the barn by the stable boy Jeremy, she was quickly taken to the vets and given vital fluids and other treatment where they calculated her age to be about 4 weeks old. Luckily at the time, the barn dog that they owned had just had puppies of its own and seemed to accept the new puppy with ease raising it as if it was her own. As the puppies grew they explored more areas of the barn they were in and on occasion stumbled into the stables of the horses, bonding with them as they went. Seti, more often than not, was found in Siefe's stall, sleeping curled up next to the massive chestnut mare who didnt seem to mind the presence of the odd looking pup. When it was time for the owners to find the pups new homes Seti wouldn't have it and pined everyday for Siefe, more than once escaping the holding pen and running back to the stables, climbing over the door and cuddling Siefe again. In the end it was decided that Seti should stay seeing as she had bonded so strongly to the mare. After that the two never left each others side, even when Siefe was being ridden and even when being trained in combat. Seti proved to be very loyal to both her owners and the horse and would be a much needed addition to guard the stables.

Who is their best friend and why?: Her friend Markus, a Willow tree. When she was a young foal, there was a fire at the stables she'd been living in. A nearby ranch agreed to take in some of the horses and she was let out into the pastures. The rest of the horses were wary of her and being in a new place after such a traumatic experience didn't help any. She carefully walked past the horses and went to find some place else to settle down. On the far side of the pasture there was a looming willow tree, that while humongous, it didn't seem scary. Settling down into the shade of the tree, she began to talk about how scared she'd been when the fire had reached her stall. At the end when she had nothing left to say, she felt lighter and more relaxed then she had been in a while. The branches of the tree swayed in the breeze in a relaxing manner as if to comfort her through her struggles. From then on, whenever she had a rough day she'd come sit down under the shade of her friend Markus'. He didn't say much and eventually she went there every morning just to greet her friend.
