When you step out of the plane and surrender yourself to the wind (knowing
she will be merciless, trusting she will be fair), there's a moment not even
the wind understands. And even though you know, logically, that nothing has
changed, you also realise neither logic nor knowledge has any any authority
here. Because in that moment, everything has changed. In that moment,
you feel nothing, and in that moment, you feel everything; every drop of
stardust blood in your veins and every firing neurone.
That is why she falls. and that is what catches her, every single time. [100]
