Hiya!
I feel kind of guilty, for various reasons, but anyways.
I feel bad letting this dude sit so I figured I'd put him up for readoption, to give those who possibly missed the species when it was open a chance to get one!

The contest will be a personality contest, with some extras allowed. I would prefer the name be kept, but I cannot stop you from changing it (I'm not sure if the name rule for the species still applies, since it closed).

here is a guide for coloring his design. The white speckles in his design are made with a scatter pen.
After the form there'll be some cool tips for appealing to my vague judging interests(tm)

If establishing relationships/connections to his family, please do note I will take points off if you make any members of his family abusive. His mothers love him very much and would never hurt him. Tips:

For someone so into catching things such as ghosts and the like, Mycroft is awfully timid. Something as small as a quick jumpscare in a game will send him into a skittish and over cautious state where he over checks every little thing, often making small tasks such as going to get a snack from the kitchen much longer than they need to be. Yet he always watches things like horror games, scary stories, and ghost hunting videos. Despite the fact that paranormal things make him so scared Mycroft is still very intrigued by them and loves to study them even though he knows he'll regret it. His family sometimes tells him maybe he should give up this love of the unknown if it makes him this frightened, but he just shakes his head and tells them that he can handle it.

Mycroft tends to keep to himself for the most part and hold his fears and problems in due to fearing that someone else is just having worse problems and that he has no right to complain. It's not that he doesn't have a good support system, his family are clearly there for him no matter what but Mycroft finds himself not wanting to bother them. A bad habit he picked up over the years from beating himself up over small mistakes. He doesn't see a tiny mishap as just that, for him anything he does that isn't perfect is horrible and he should feel bad for it. It's not easy for Mycroft to admit that he has an issue and then accept it.

Despite the fact that he's a huge scaredy cat Mycroft still likes to go out with his group of fellow paranormal pals. They like to go out and hunt for ghosts and other creatures and while Mycroft mostly spends his time clinging to one of his friends in fear he still enjoys it. Most often Mycroft is the one that researches possible haunted buildings or areas where sightings of strange activity has been reported so they can go on a hunt there. He's very dedicated to doing his research and making sure where ever the group ends up is safe for them to be around. His little group of friends mean the world to him and he'd hate for them to get hurt because he didn't research enough. Mycroft tends to be himself accountable when someone does.

When Mycroft is around others he's a bright and cheerful presence no matter how shy he is. He tries his best to let his friends and family know how great he thinks they are and how much they mean to him. While he can't very well give himself a boost of confidence he refuses to see anyone he loves talk bad about them self and often has millions of reasons as to why someone should smile. He often seems clueless as to what's going on around him because he's bad about zoning out and daydreaming, which is always a bit embarrassing when someone notices, but otherwise it's a harmless habit of his.

The place that Mycroft feels the most peace for sure however is the animal shelter where he works. He tends to spend most of his time there and even comes in when he doesn't need to. Being around animals is something that just completely makes the bad things go away and puts the faint-hearted plumie at peace. Mostly he loves helping out with the big dogs because for the most part they're all big teddy bears and he enjoys getting to walk them and spend time with them. His day is always made when a pet he's been helping take care of gets adopted and he always finds time to make a little gift basket of the animals favorite toys and treats to send home with the pets new family.

Vynas
While he loves both his mothers dearly and loves spending time with either of them, Vynas is by far the mom he's most relaxed around. He enjoys how sweet she is and loves to help her bake sometimes. He'll often go to her when he has something on his mind and sometimes likes to just sit and chat with her when he's not busy. Sometimes he asks her if she could learn to figure out how to bake treats for dogs, so that they can try to make something nice for the shelter dogs he works with.


Sparkplug
The amount of glitter that Mycroft probably still has on him from all of his mothers glitter gifts is insane. Mycroft isn't the biggest fan of glitter out of the fear that he'll accidentally get some in his eyes, since glitter sticks to everything and he tends to rub his eyes a lot from lack of sleep. Truth be told though that's the only thing Sparkplug does that causes him any worry, and it's not enough worry for him to be too bothered by it. Sometimes when he's having a bad day she'll take him out and spend the day with him doing fun stuff to cheer him up and he's never sad or scared after spending a day with Sparkplug. She knows how to make anything fun and by the end of the day he's forgotten why he was even sad in the first place.


Wink skew
Mycroft loves his brother even if he's not related to him by blood. He's always been interested in animation and the like, so he thinks it's super cool that his brother is studying it. Mycroft isn't the biggest reader, but often will go to Wink for ideas on horror genre books, and his brother always seems to have a good nose for finding good ones. When Mycroft finishes a book that Wink's picked out for him the two often sit for hours and talk about the book.


Benji
Mycroft often finds it hard to keep up with Benji sometimes. He's wary of spending time with him a bit, just because he's worried about saying something wrong and making him cry and that's the last thing Mycroft wants to do. Despite that he still loves hanging out with him and will often volunteer to be a model for whatever his sibling is sewing, given he can fit in it. He thinks sewing is cool and likes seeing what his brother makes, and is very supportive of his passion.

- he is an artificial intelligence developer
- "what people don't understand is that robots don't think like us. for us when we play tic tac toe, its so obvious that we should pick the middle square. for ai, that's the toughest decision to make."
- he's very passionate about the concept of learning, both in terms of artificial intelligence and in terms of children; it's why hes so good with kids
- he's developed and sold off algorithms in the past; sure they make money but they dont really help people. he regrets it and vowed to make better, more helpful ai.
- he actually had a lot of issues learning as a child and thats why he's so obsessed with the whole learning/teaching dynamic
- he develops/trains some really pointless neural networks when hes bored "hey do u want a robot that spits out fictional brooklyn 99 fan character names" "no" "ur welcome"

ok but those are all occupational things it doesnt tell you much about the character himself ok lets go
- hes generally easily distracted, doesnt hold conversations very well, either dominates the conversation entirely or is very flippant. he doesnt mean to be like that, it just happens and hes taught himself to be aware of it and apologize accordingly
- hes like a very excitable kid when you talk about the things he loves, he'll imprint on you like a duckling if you talk to him about ai or hieroglyphics or soaps
- he loves creating and learning, he's very eager to get his hands on new hobbies
- he tolerates people who don't take interest in his hobbies, sometimes feels hurt but hides it
- he's always trying his best please love him
